The hostel has an amazing for travellers. Even if the street gets creepy at night you can just go around from the parallel street that is completely normal at anytime of the day. Staff amazingly friendly! the room was big enough, equipped with a fridge :). A safe and high quality choice to stay in Rome

I have to beginning by saying how difficult this hostel was to find. The streets numbers make zero sense and there no sign or anything of such outside the hostel entrance to indicate you are in the right place. The lady at the receptions was great, she showed us to our room and was very honest about the area being... More

My husband and I stayed there and the woman who attended to us was just wonderful! She even offered to do our laundry (and she did). She wants only to please - she left us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed very much. If we are ever back in Rome, we will stay there!!

I stayed at this lovely B&B for a few days in July of 2014. The staff were lovely and friendly and showed me the best places to visit and how to get there- and the best restaurants too! I was travelling alone but I didn't feel lonely as the hostel was full of young people to chat to. The facilities... More

We are just back from our Roma trip and it was just an amazing one. The hotel location is excellent. 3 min you are in Termini station which is the main station to all connections. Also from it you can go for a tour to the old city either by walking or by bus or by train. Price is very... More

This place is fantastically located right outside Roma Termini station..So it takes barely 2mins to reach out after getting off from the airport shuttle..the room was we'll spaced out and hygienic..It could easily qualify as a decent 3-star hotel room..staff was courteous enough to provide us take-away breakfast as we checked out at 4.30 am for an early morning flight... The proximity of all the attractions one wants to see, the room, the staff, the price - everything was great. The option of having breakfast delivered to your room was a nice surprise, too. The area around Termini is not the nicest in the city, but me and my friend really didn't mind, and we didn't feel unsafe. I would... More

We had a warm welcome from the lady who is on desk-duty in the day time. We were surprised to be shown to No. 24 Carlo Cattaneo, and concluded that the hostel has increased in size due to its well-deserved popularity. We were free to come and go as we pleased, as we had our own set of keys, and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
