We spent five nights in this hotel and I can recommend it. The double room is big, very clean, and warm. Shower works perfect and the matress is very comfortable. Staff is friendly and we were allowed to get some cutlery and dishes from the kitchen to eat in the room. You can also cook in the kitchen. Breakfast is... More

Small clean B&B run by very nice and helpful people. Nice kitchen in 5th floor saved us some money for dinner.it is located right next to Termini which is louder than I like, but still OK. Breakfast is served "to the bed". The worst experience was with too active cleaning lady who done her job more than needed. She organized... More

We stayed here for four nights and it was great. The room had a really comfortable bed with ensuite and it was central to everything. Walking or by metro or tram or bus we tried them all. It has a lift to get the bags to the room. The breakfast was not much we were up early so only got... More

Although this room was a good value, it was not as described. It was supposed to be an air conditioned room, and had none. This was a problem, since the room got hot and stuffy during the night with the windows closed. We tried leaving the windows open at night, but since it faced out to a busy street, we... More

In an area which does not have the best reputation, this small cosy B&B does it really well with relatively cheap prices a friendly staff and proper surroundings. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Monti area, which have a lot of decent restaurants.

I stayed one night, alone. Only good things to say. The owners were very helpful and nice, the location was great and the room was cute and clean. I felt very safe, even alone as a woman. The owner gave me his business card, in the case I need help with anything during my stay. Comfy beds and a good... More

The entrance/’lobby’ looks very dirty and worn. However, the rooms are nice. Basic with IKEA furniture, but very clean. Staff is very friendly. Excellent budget option if you are staying for 1-2 nights and just need somewhere to sleep. Drawback - air-conditioning unit is very noisy and breakfast must be eaten in the room (or on a small bar in... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
