I stayed for 4 nights in this charming hotel and I really recommend it. The room was really charming, really clean, the staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was nice. Extra advantage: the terrace on top, which you can use to drink a nice wine with friends or to have some pizza that you get on the street. Quite good... More

We stayed in the hotel Beldes for 9 days and found it to be a very pleasant stay. They arranged our pickup and delivery from the airport as well as dinners and day trips. We walked to the Vatican one day then the Spanish Steps the next, as well as all the great things in between. We will definitely stay... More

i,m not a complainer by nature, i let small niggles go as a rule, but there were a lot of small/big niggles!! The hotel is in a good location,a great little cafe next door, here goes with the "snag" list room smelt of damp/mould,way too dark decor, bedside light fitting loose(dangerous),mini bar empty, didn't work anyway(metal box with light),wall safe not... The main benefit of this hotel is its location. It is in a "real" Rome neighbourhood with a good selections of cafes and restaurants frequented mainly by locals and certainly no package tourists. The Lapanto metro station is at the end of the road. From here, you can reach the main termini Train station in 10 minutes for the Leonardo... More

Despite having made a reservation months in advance we were told that we would have to spend at lead tour first night in the Annex, a couple blocks away. Dion, the front desk man, was very friendly and helpful, but really, we felt as though it was a bait and switch. Small room, a wardrobe but no drawers, no instructions... More

When we arrived, the gentleman to welcome us was cheery and spoke good English. He led us to our room which was in the Annex, which was a building a street across. He showed us our room, and recommended a few good restaurants in the local area. Room was clean and tidy, and what we expected for the money. There... More

I wanted to write this review after all the other reviews had almost made me change my mind and switch to another hotel. I am so glad I didn't. We stayed in the annex in 3d, the room was fantiastic, the air con was brilliant, and the room even had a expresso machine for your early morning coffee. The annex... More

As this was our first time in a hotel in Rome, I cannot compare this to others as to what is generally expected, but I found the staff to be friendly and obliging and ready to assist. The initial superior room we were in on the 2nd floor didnt have a wardrobe, just hanging rail, and the air con didnt... More

We booked a package deal through Expedia for one week in Rome. Stayed in Beldes H.R. hotel which is conveniently located 5 min. from the Metro satiation and 10 min. of walking distance from St. Paul & Vatican . Tis is a very nice boutique hotel with breakfast included. We had a bright nice room on the second floor facing... More

I carefully chose this hotel not just for its locality but also from the website pictures and description. However, I was disappointed - minibar in room, there was none, bar and cafe only vending machines, air con was pot luck. Anyhow, we weathered the storm because the staff were very helpful and the locality was super. I came to the conclusion... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
