I traveled with a tour group and we were split between two hotels. I have stayed in this general area before and initially was not impressed with the looks of this hotel, however, was pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious enough, clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The rooftop restaurant/bar offered a great view of the Vatican and was... More

I found this hotel to be very dusty and bad for allergies. The restaurant below and the street noise kept me up at night and I was only given a sheet to cover up with as most of the people in my party were. There is no bag assistance so you do have to carry your bags up and down... More

Dear guest, we regret to get to know that you were not satisfied about your stay. But I have a question: is it really Orange hotel, the hotel you stayed in? Because the group you were part of might have been divided in 2 hotel one of which is next door to ours. Unfortunately the main reason to choose an... More

I just returned from a tour of Italy that included a 4 night stay in Rome at this hotel. It was our first time in Rome; on a pilgrimage with my Mother, so we were quite excited to see that our tour company booked us into a location so close to The Vatican. It was a 5-10 minute walk to... More

This was our first time in Rome so wasn't too sure where to stay and so glad we picked this hotel. Check in quick and easy, Our Room wasn't ready however that wasn't a problem as we were going out to explore and just kept our bags at reception for us returning later. Perfect location to the Vatican, with rooftop... More

It was our first time in Rome and we couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel! The location is 5mins walk from the Vatican and 10mins from Piazza Navona which was perfect! We went for 5 days 30/06/15-04/07/15 and the weather was incredibly hot (36 degrees Celsius) so the air con was just great after a long day of... More

Nice and modern room, nice WC. Just great if you need to be near the Vatican. the street is really fancy and has a great restaurant just a few steps for the hotel. We decided to stay here, due to its location, so near the Piazza San Pietro, just for the Papal Audience

My granddaughter and I stayed 5 nights - The rooms are pleasantly furnished, with original features, e.g. solar energy, soap from a pipe, unusual shower. In spite of the central location, noise was minimal. The breakfast, on the terrace, is very good by continental standards and with excellent service. The personnel is competent and friendly, speaking excellent English. The addition... More

We just returned from our stay in Orange Hotel. The good things: it's at a great location! Walking distance to the Vatican. The staff was very nice. Cool looking hotel.. The room smelled like orange (at least in our room) The not so good: Rooms and shower are SMALL. Also I know the hotel is trying to be echo friendly.... More

I have booked the hotel on a same-night booking app while in Rome. For that price it was a disappointment. The plastic upholstered bench in the room made me feel like in a hospital. There is not enough light in the room, and everything is glowing orange. The entrance is from an alley. The service, on the other hand was... More

My husband took me to Rome for my birthday. He thought he had booked us into a 4 star hotel but on arrival at the Orange Hotel I was disappointed in our room. We both feel it was not up to 4 star standard. We stayed in room 302 which the walls had black marks on them, the orange base... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
