My husband took me to Rome for my birthday. He thought he had booked us into a 4 star hotel but on arrival at the Orange Hotel I was disappointed in our room. We both feel it was not up to 4 star standard. We stayed in room 302 which the walls had black marks on them, the orange base... More

Like said in the title, the location was amazing you could see the Vatican as soon as you step out the hotel. Easy to find, safe street and very close to attractions and bars. The BIG BIG let down for me was the limo/taxi service. We had arranged for them to pick us up from the airport for a cost... More

As it was my birthday my wife had arranged for a cake and champagne to be in the room. The staff were fantastic, both at reception and the bar staff... More

They smiled in my face and made promises, but didn't care about all the problems we had. We stayed in room #306. We had a problem with our hotel room door lock. The second day of our stay in the evening after site seeing. We return and the door card wouldn't open our room door. They gave us a new... More

We did not actually stay a night in this hotel, as on arrival we were told all the electrics had gone and we were put up in a hotel around the corner for one night. The receptionist told us that our room would be ready the following day. For the three nights we stayed in Rome, we had to stay... More

Found the Hotel Orange here on Tripadvisor and made my booking on their website, which was easy and quick. Communication with the hotel in regards to transfers was very good and I was really looking forward to my stay. The room I booked was a basic room, but being alone I thought 'not a problem' - but it was. No... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
