Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommending local restaurants and providing information. Room was comfortable. Location was excellent for visiting the vatican, and a reasonable walk for other locations. For the price, the hotel was a good value. more

We are from Brazil and we have just stayed there for 5 days: Excellent Hotel ! Very next to Vatican, Vatican Museum and 400 m to a metro-station ( Ottaviano ) , allowing access to all parts of Rome. The room and bathroom are very clean and modernized in orange and black colors, the staff is extremely helpful and polite.... more

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days and had the luck that all standard rooms where full and we got the junior suite. It was a big nice room on the front side of Hotel on first floor. This is the only negativ point of the hotel. The rooms or badly noise insulated (single glas windows) and there is... more

I recently stayed at the Orange Hotel, as I have hinted the location was superb for access to most of the sights in Rome. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel was clean and modern with a pleasant atmosphere. Everything in the room worked, which is a good thing. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was ok... more

Small rooms, very little storage space, everything colour coded. Breakfast adequate, not huge. Staff responsive when asked, but not openly helpful in the main. Roof top restaurant and terrace very pleasant. Relatively good value for money given location 2 mins fron Vatican. good shopping nearby, metro 5 mins walk away. more

We stayed at Orange Hotel 28 Sept for 4 nights. We were a group of 5 adults needing a double room and a triple room. Like most city centre hotels the rooms were not overly large, but functional. Our double room had a corner jacuzzi bath rather than a shower, but it was fine. The triple room had a double... more

Looks great in photo's, but the reality is completely worn out. The room was of a good size, but was dirty and very smelly. We complained as soon as we checked in, but as that was 4pm in the afternoon, no one did anything about it. I took the manager to the room the next day, and she shrugged her... more

We are very disappointed about this review, and is the second rewiev of the same guest. it's true that the top of the bath( 2,50 meters high) was dusty, and i went in the room with the housekeeper to check and i apologised with them for the inconvenient, and the same day i said to the persons in charge for...

We stayed here for three nights. I reserved a rate on the internet that was for no EU people only that when we checked in we were told that we had to pay in cash even though under the PAYMENT terms on my confirmation it did not say that anywhere. Long story short the staff on check out was snotty... more

Dear Guest, The rate that you choose is the “glamour rate” that is a rate dedicated to U.S. citizen. This rate offer a big discount and the only 2 limitation is to have U.S. passport and to pay by euro cash at the moment of the check in. this condition is written on the automatically answer that you receive when...

I can only imagine that the people below have very low expectations of hotels in Rome/Italy in general. I am Italian so I know what kind of standards a massive metropolis like Rome can have but this Hotel let us really down! It was out honeymoon and after a week in an amazing Hotel in Capri (Villa Marina di Capri... more

A very cool little gem in Rome near the Vatican and the metro. Friendly staff and a delightful restaurant on the top floor serving beautiful modern Italian cuisine. Highly recommended and very good value. more
