Arrived at hotel, very friendly and helpful. Let us drop our bags off as we were early and then showed us where to go to eat. Great breakfast, well worth €8 and amazing cappuccino. Nice room and large bath and clean. Lovely bar next door and close to the city centre. Definitely reccomend a stay of you want a cheap,... More

They smiled in my face and made promises, but didn't care about all the problems we had. We stayed in room #306. We had a problem with our hotel room door lock. The second day of our stay in the evening after site seeing. We return and the door card wouldn't open our room door. They gave us a new... More

My husband booked a valentines trip to rome for a long weekend. As soon as we got to the orange hotel we were immediately told that the hotel has had a power cut and electricity in some rooms are unavailable. They made arrangements for us to be in another hotel the "equivalent" We were taken to the Olympic hotel around... More

Stayed here in Oct 2014 for my mothers 65th birthday. It's is a lovely hotel with great staff. It's a 5 min walk to the Vatican which u can see from the roof top restaurant. It's in easy walk to the shops which are in the street behind the hotel. Book a omnipass if you go for a few days... More

We did not actually stay a night in this hotel, as on arrival we were told all the electrics had gone and we were put up in a hotel around the corner for one night. The receptionist told us that our room would be ready the following day. For the three nights we stayed in Rome, we had to stay... More

Found the Hotel Orange here on Tripadvisor and made my booking on their website, which was easy and quick. Communication with the hotel in regards to transfers was very good and I was really looking forward to my stay. The room I booked was a basic room, but being alone I thought 'not a problem' - but it was. No... More

We had a surprise european trip this year for work, I was able to have my adorable wife go wth me. Since it was our first time in Europe tge Vatican was a must. Having 5 weeks to reserve/decide and a small budget, we decided on the Orange Hotel for Rome, 2 blocks from Vatican and metro. And about $120... More

This is a small hotel near the Vatican. It is a convenient location for sightseeing. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The hotel room was clean, however it could use some updating and maintenance. The noise from the people on the street made it difficult to sleep.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and we would absolutely stay here again if we return to Rome! The hotel staff was great, rooms were smaller but very clean, and the entire atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming and supportive of travelers. Everyone had great English and was very willing to help. The hotel is easy to... More

If you are looking for a hotel close to the Vatican, then this is the place for you. The location of the Orange Hotel can't be beat - - just a quick five minute walk from Saint Peter's Square makes this the perfect place for pilgrims. The staff, particularly in the breakfast room, were quite friendly and very helpful. There... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
