This little hotel on the 3rd floor of the building is really quite nice. The room was very adequate, spotlessly clean and I had plentiful clean towels! I never did manage to get the wi-fi to work however... Breakfast was basic but, for the 3 short days I was there, again, adequate. Tea, Coffee (additional cups = extra charge!), sliced...

I think it's a good hotel, clean and confortable. The only "thing" to change is the announcements in the entrance, you don't know where is the hotel if you don't know the number of the building,a little elevator and the recepcionist. I think that the recepcionist has to change now because it gives a very bad image of the hotel, the...

Location was mysterious at first. They advertise it as "a few yards" from Termini Station. Actually, it's about 4 blocks north and west. Don't trust Rome taxi drivers; they will lie to you and tell you it's far, far away, when it's actually not, and will try to rip you off. No hotel sign out front to orient you; you...

The hotel...

My stay at this hotel in Rome was a complete nightmare! I have been to Roma for lengthly stays over a dozen times. The hotel is a complete disapointment, to say the least. From the rooms to the service it lacked all one looks for in a hotel. No air conditioning, and rude uncaring staff to solve any of the...

We booked the rooms from the internet, the hotel's site. The only thing that was acceptable about this hotel was the distance between hotel and Termini and the bus station. Reality has nothing to do with the advertise on the site. The hotel is in the 3rd floor of a rather strange building and the elevator was for 2 people only...

I stayed 5 nights at Hotel Alex in Rome. It is located on the 3rd floor of a 'normal' building and has an oldfashioned elevator. It's a 5 minute walk from Termini and 2 minutes from the metro station Pretorio. The rooms are very pleasant, clean and rather spacious. The shower is very small though and there's not much pressure....
