We spend 2 nights in Il Romitello during our weekendtrip to explore Rome. When we arrived there was a 'general strike' in Rome, which often happen. Because we we expected trains not to go, we contacted Andrea from the reception of Il Romitello the night before and she arranged private transportation from the Fiumicino airport to the hotel. Great service... More

Good hotel , friendly staff , the breakfast wasn't amazing simple but fair enough , big rooms , clean bathroom , no WiFi in rooms it is only in lobby , the only thing I had to say that it is not close to Rome centre ( metro to batistini (final station in metro A) then bus 998 or 997... More

We had wanted to stay out of the main hustle and bustle of Rome and found this hotel to be a great compromise between city and suburb. The hotel is at the end of the underground and then a bus ride away (we stayed out too late one night and weren't able to catch a bus back, which made for... More

The hotel is in kind of a quarter of emmigrants, but this means that the whole neighbourhood was really cheap. You can eat for 3 times less than in the center. There are many supermarkerts just 2 corners far. The people in the hotel are very nice, very helpful. The WiFi is a little bit slow on the 2nd floor,... More

I spent there a great weekend with my girlfriend! It is located in a very calm place with a big garden, but you easily get to the metro and city center. I found very clean rooms and common space. The team is composed by very nice people, you feel at home. This solution is perfect for couples and families that... More

Wonderful place ideal to rest. The environment is beautiful. The hotel is a perfect place to stay in Rome, especially with a car-it have a free guarded parking inside. My room was a new one with a comfortable, double bed, a spacious and very clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Tho only... More

Il Romitello is a cheap but decent hotel out of the centre of Rome. It is not so close to the Vatican, metro and bus like you can find at the official web site but if you are ready to walk it's OK. Neighbourhood is quiet and there is a free and safe parking place and looks as a good... More

We had a lovely stay at Il Romitello during one week this august. The hotel was located a bit outside the city center (approximately 30 min by bus), which both my fiancé and I appreciated. It was a very calm and nice neighborhood and you had the possibility to see Rome from the "real side". There are mostly italians living... More
