Me and my boyfriend (20&26)have stayed there during our 5 days trip in Rome(February 2015). We are always staying at hotels in a centre and with this one we had close to everything!! We were within walking distance to everything - Vatican City, Pantheon, Borghese Park, Spanish Steps, Appian Way, and the Colloseo is literally around the corner. There are... More

The room was on a busy street, with lots of restaurants cafés and things to do and see. It was only one block from the Coliseum. The room consisted of a bed, a small TV on the wall, and a bathroom with the smallest shower I have ever seen. But I guess in such a prime location, space is at... More

Andrea is awesome, he can help you get transportation from Airport, to Cruise Ship, excursions, everything. It is within walking distance of the Coloseum. We were really lucky that we found this hidden Gem.

This isn't a 5-star hotel, but it was great for the price! It is located in the heart of Rome, a block or so from the Colosseum. Even though it's on a major street (Via Cavour), you wouldn't know from inside the room. It felt like I was staying in an extra room at the in-laws (I actually like the... More

I stayed here with my son in July 2014 and was extremely pleased with my choice of accommodation. The location was excellent and all the attractions of Ancient Rome were within walking distance. We availed of the service, provided by the owners, to be collected and dropped from the airport, as I was never in Rome before, which made the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on 2 visits during June 2014. More of a guesthouse- the place is clean, compact but with comfy beds, Air-con and en-suite rooms. Can't ask for much more for the price charged. Celeste & Andrea who run it were charming and very helpful. Availed of their airport transfer service which was very convenient. Some great... More

A bit deceiving. Stayed there May 2014 (could not get a refund, and I was not going to waste $1161). Management was not interested in client satisfaction, probably because the hotel location is very good so the attitude was of if you don’t like it, I really don’t care. The hotel is an apartment located on a third floor without... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
