Stayed in December 2014 for one week in a single room. From the initiation of contact prior to my trip Giada and the entire Home in Rome Kosher Bed and Breakfast team ensured that was I accommodated. From advising regarding nearby Shabbat meals, transit (especially in light of the Metro strike), The Home in Rome enabled me to enjoy my... More

We are 2 girls that went to rome for vacation, and stayed at the home in rome for three nights including Shabbat. The owner, Avraham, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was really nice and spacious. There is a kitchen/ lounge area where there is always drinks and snacks. Breakfast is a beautiful spread of home made rolls and... More

Had a wonderful experience. We had the room with attached bathroom. Clean and neat. Quiet at nighttime. 2 minute walk to the Metro ( Blue line ) and the 62 bus stops right in from of the building. So getting into Rome was quick and easy. Metro is 10 minute ride to Colosseum. It lets you off right in front... More

I was at this place two years ago with my mother in law. We liked the place a lot and when this time we were planning the trip to Italy I didn't have long to look for it, I just called and booked for 4 nights in the beginning of the trip and 3 nights at the end. It is... More

We had a great time, came with kids and the apartment was like a home away from home. The breakfasts were fresh and tasty and the staff was incredibly helpful - they helped us buy tickets when the website was in Italian, gave us maps with detailed explanations etc. the location is excellent for kosher travelers, lots of restaurants and... Wow I am so shocked that all the reviews are so positive. This place was filthy! The bathroom was dirty, there was hair all over the bath, and don't even get me started on the smell... We booked two rooms with a bathroom. The bathroom was not even near our rooms, plus other guests were using it until we decided... More

FDear Mr. / Mrs. SC S, In relation to your comment, we remain totally astonished and amazed. We must believe that the assessment made is the result of an obvious error perhaps depending on the long lapse of time between the date of the alleged accommodation and that of comment, in fact you claim to have stayed at our B... We chose the "Home" as a Kosher B&B, however it was so much more. The location was out of the hustle & bustle of the center of town, in an upscale residential neighborhood, very (!) conveniently located: right across the street from a bus to the center of town, and only 2 blocks away from the metro. It was nice... More

We stayed at The Home in Rome in August 2014 for 3 nights, including Shabbat. It is a great location because it is not far from the center but also unable to really see non touristic neighborhood. People warmly welcomed us and took time to explain us and show us around. The apartment and the rooms are very spacious and... More
