I booked this hotel for my anniversary after looking at lastminute I had researched even phoned last minute and contacted the hotel via email to let them know what I was expecting. When we arrived and were taken to our room My heart sank and my wife was so dissapointed and I was livid. It was truly the worst room... More

Nice hotel, if I go back to Italy probably will like a place more in the center of the city. This hotel was well care and we found the room very cute. We have to walk a lot to get to Termini station.

Dear Guest, thank you for your kind words left about us. I am sorry that you have found some problems in joying the Termini Railwway station, in fact it is not a walking distance and sincerely we prefer to stay a bit farer from there being it a very crowed area (as any main railway station is)! We are just... More

After reading a few bad reviews of this hotel I was a bit put off about boooking it. I emailed them and copied some of the comments from other bad reviews into the email. They emailed me back and said they hadn't recieved any complaints at the time and assured me of a good stay. We got back last night... More

Overview: Noisy - on the corner of 2 very busy roads Shabby - even in a suite the toilet door didnt shut and the shower jets flooded the bathroom Staff at reception are rude and unhelpful - I think very used to complaints! Very small rooms even by big city standard If you get the suite with the jacuzzi for... More

Just returned from an enjoyable stay at the Romanico Palace. Booked via Last Minute's Secret Hotels and admittedly was a little worried about what to expect at the hotel after reading some reviews. However, we found all the staff welcoming, helpful and polite, the room was very acceptable - perhaps we were lucky as it was a perfectly adequate size.... More

The hotel was really disappointing, nowhere near as grand as the website photos! The room was really small with no bath. When we were leaving for the airport the staff informed us that they had lost the key to the luggage room and we had to wait nearly an hour whilst they tried to break the door down. It was... More

When we were shown to our room it was half the size it appeared on the website, there had been a leak and the wallpaper was hanging off the walls in the corner of the bedroom. Where there were grills in the room, presumably air conditioning, there were large black stains on the wallpaper. The bathroom door had holes in... More

Although the web site shows wonderful pictures of spacious rooms the reality is slightly smaller. The room we had was quite reasonable but the traffic noise in the morning was disturbing. The room was better than we had expected having read all the reviews before going. The breakfast was plentiful and the views from the roof top restaurant were outstanding.The... More

Juat returned form Romanico Palace. On arrival first impressions was shabby and small. We were given a tiny little room barley big enough for a double bed. When we requested a bigger room we were told by a very arrogant desk manager that there were no other rooms, but after some argument he agreed to upgrade us. These so called... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
