My wife and I booked through our agent in this hotel to spend a long weekend at the beginning of June 2012. Although I was alarmed by trip advisors reviews I could not believe it would be that bad. Extremely small rooms with a feel of an earthquake whenever a corridor door was shut. Extremely expensive Internet (10 euros for... More

Dear Guest, thank you very much for your review, we really care about customer's opinion and suggestions. Concerning the breakfast, we inform you that included in the room's rate (unless you by a room only/breakfast not included) the hotel offers the continental buffet breakfast - not American breakfast - on the roof top restaurant with City view. Our continental buffet... More

JUNE 2012 - DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU GET A REALLY GOOD DEAL AS IN LESS THAN $175 a night. It is well located but needs to be reclassified as a three star hotel. You can do better elsewhere in Rome. The staff is ok, but really not guest friendly. It is almost as if we were lucky to... More

I booked this hotel with American Express points (lots!). I liked the fact that the complimentary breakfast & the bar at night offered wonderful views of the city from the roof top. However, they claimed that due to an error on American Expresses end, we did not receive the free breakfast & it would cost us each 12 euro. And... More

We stayed here with our grown kids for a family celebration of our anniversary. The regular rooms were expensive for the size. Our junior suite was a great size but the bath set up was a bit odd. We caulked those things up to Rome hotel peculiarities. On the positive side - it was a an easy walk to the... More

I found this hotel to be a disappointment in almost every single way. I would definitely not stay here again. My husband and I booked this hotel through AmEx to make sure that we didn’t end up with a “lost reservation” situation. We booked the room only without breakfast. Our first moment of interaction with this hotel was upon arrival.... More

We stayed in the hotel from 27-29 April, there were four of us, we got this through booking.com, at that time it seemed quite a good deal considering its prime location. We were there for a short trip and never really got the chance to enjoy the place much except for the time to come home at night. On some... More

We booked this hotel through booking.com and were worried after reading negative reviews that turned out to be very accurate. It had been arranged that we would receive breakfast and we checked when booking in at hotel yet they still tried to charge us for breakfast which in our opinion was very poor not worth the €15 per person they... We stayed at the Romanico Palace May 4 to 11th for our wedding anniversary. Room: we had a first floor, regular room. We were offered an upgrade to a deluxe room for 30E or a suite for 50E. We declined. Our room had a king bed. A fresco ceiling. The AC did not function very well but we slept with... More

Stayed here for 3 nights arriving April 12. Helpful service from reception desk and our room was lovely. Excellent shower. Breakfast on roof terrace was good - plenty to choose from. The hotel is in an excellent location and we would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I were planning on staying at this hotel for five days. We were lucky that they only had two days available because we had no idea what we were in for. On our first night there we had a flood in the bathroom, what a disaster. I told housekeeping, and she didn’t seem to be surprised. When... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
