I was looking for a reasonable B&B in Rome because I didn't want to stay in a hostel for three days. I found Dormire Altrove on a random website, liked how it looked, and liked the price even better: 40 Euros a night ( for a single room) with breakfast included, free internet and a private bathroom - score. The problem started when I called the hotel and no one could really speak English very well - at least well enough for me to feel comfortable. I worried that I would end up in a dump with strange freaks, but I took the plunge anyway and just trusted that everything was going to workout.
When I got to the The Termini in Rome, I had to take the METRO A (red line) subway to the the last stop (Anagnina) and then two buses to get to the hotel which is in a residential area (Castelli Romani).
