Fully modern rooms well situated to all Rome has to offer. While the lobby and the garden is on the main level, the rooms are situated on the upper floors. There is an elevator available, but the reception needs to provide access. The room was spacious, nicely appointed, with a full modern bathroom. Air conditioning was welcome. The reception staff... My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Artorius for 3 nights over new year 2011/2012. The hotel itself is small but well appointed and the room we had was perfect for our needs (site seeing break). Our room was a double which was nicely decorated and furnished, and was a good size considering we were in the centre of... More

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor after many searches. We can't say enough about this place. You can walk to many sites from this location. The breakfast must be the best in all of Rome. We looked forward eveyday to start our day off with the wonderful buffet. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very... More

After much research on Trip Advisor I stayed here for 3 nights in late August. It was the most perfect stay. From the moment we walked in, tired, hot and dishevelled, the welcoming was warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk from all the sights, restaurants and shops. It makes a... More

From the moment you walk in the large wooden doors into the marble hallway towards the reception and spot the original slam door cage elevator, you know it's going to be a great stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfy and tastefully decorated. The air conditioned hallways and rooms are a god send in... More

Looked at lots of hotels before settling in this one. The hotel is perfectly located for virtually everything you would want to visit in Rome - we only took the metro to the Vatican everywhere else we walked to. The reception is manned 24 hours and was very secure - the small street where the hotel is located us very... More

Having read some very favourable reviews on Tripadvisor, and the hotel's own description of itself as a "luxury"boutique hotel, we were distinctly taken aback to be shown into our "Junior Suite" and found it to be absolutely tiny. The bed was kingsize, admittedly , but there was about 18 inches of space on either side of it, with a table... More

Stylish little hotel. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent location within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance of most of the major sights in a quiet but interesting little side-street with small supermarket ( few & far between) just opposite and several bistros/tavernas/restaurants in the vicinity as well as a handful of elegant boutiques. I can't fault it. More

With all the great reviews, we were so excited to come to this hotel. Unfortunately, we found it limiting. Not a great breakfast; rooms on the street (which were most of them) were noisy and filled with exhaust if you opened the window. If closed, it was much more quiet. Staff was ok except for one young woman at the... More
