Just stayed here at the end of October 2015 for 2 nights. Monica met us at the door and showed us our rooms & gave us great tips on where to eat and what to do. The rooms were very clean and had everything that we needed including a safe to put valuables in. Check out was at 11am...but we... More

We were hear in august 2015. It was a great 'lodge' with a good location near the colosseum and the neighbourhood monti. Instead of other comments below we think it was not really a noisy neighbourhood. You only hear the subway sometimes but we didnt mind actually. Monica was our host and she was just great! Whenever we needed something... More

We were here in early October 2014. I was surprised to feel the rumble of the subway in our room, as I had not read about this on previous reviews. You could tell that the subway must be close underground. As well, on two nights of our four night stay there was quite loud music that I believe was coming... More

We spent 7 days at Gulliver's. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We received some great tourist tips from Mary and her assistant and enjoyed a couple of great spots not mentioned in the guidebooks. The location is just 3 or 4 minute walk to the subway and not a lot further to the forums and Colosseum. Mary arranged... More

My wife and I stayed here in May. Walking distance from the train station and walking distance to the Colosseum and Forum. Staff could not have been more helpful. Rooms are typical size for a major city. We were more focused on spending the day walking the city and the location and price met our needs

convenient to the train and subway stations. medium walk to Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon. dozens of cafes nearby. room was clean. AC worked well. bath was very small and shower downright microscopic. no breakfast service on site - you get coupons for a croissant and coffee at the bar across the street. not a bad place at all. we just expected... Gulliver's Lodge was a great pivot point for our recent trip to Italy. We used their rooms as our stop over to catch trains from Rome's Termini Station. Great location and nice rooms. The service was excellent with good recommendations for where to go for food and sites, with helpful maps, as well as where we should avoid eating. Breakfast... More

Three of us enjoyed 3 nights in Rome at Gulliver's Lodge. The room was very nice, and on the first floor!! The location was excellent being only a few blocks from the Roman Forum and Colisseum. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed the air conditioning. The breakfast was not served in the B&B, but across the street... More

This B&B is at a great location within walking distance of the Termini train station and the Colloseum. Mary was very helpful in providing a great map of Rome to us that had all of the major sites highlighted. She also recommended some fabulous restaurants near the B&B for dinner. The room was comfortable, came with wi-fi, and breakfast was... More

The B&B was a great location for seeing ancient Rome and close to the Termini train station. We did not have any issues with street or room noise. The person who greeted us was very helpful with suggestions and had a map ready for us. This property doesn't have a reception desk that is attended and we did not realize... More
