We really enjoyed staying at this hotel in Trastevere. It is nice to get out of the city center and stay in a part of Rome that feels more authentic. It is only a 5 minute walk to the Tiber and the #8 tram goes by constantly which takes you to Largo Argentina. The room was stayed in was nice.... more

My husband and I travelled to Italy for our honeymoon, completing our journey in Rome. When we planned our trip, we knew Rome would be busy (it was September, after all) and expensive so while we had splurged on more luxurious accommodations in other cities, we hoped to spend LESS during our three nights in Rome. On paper, the WRH... more

I reserved this hotel because of the good ratings on Trip Advisor and its reasonable price for Rome. I agree fully with the previous reviews. I traveled with my husband and daughter and her family which included two children, ages 7 and 10. The rooms were great. The common room was a good place to interact with family members and... more

Drive up to this hotel next to this unmarked building and you might worry you made a mistake. The hotel is basically a floor in a an apartment buidling, so it's looks are deceiving. Inside, very clean, very nice small room with A/C, great tiny bathrooms with modern, clean showers. Not a full service hotel, but what a great value... more

This small (5 room) b&b is tucked into a side street near the main artery into Trastevere, on the second floor of a rather humdrum building which gives no hint of the bright, clean rooms inside. Location ends up being an excellent spot from which to explore the neighborhood and the many good restaurants in the area. While the front... more

My wife and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel and loved it. Here are some insights into our experience: Location: The location is within walking distance to all of the major tourist attractions (about 20 minutes to the Pantheon or 5-10 if you take public transportation). The location of the hotel is in a great... more

WRH Trastevere is extremely hard to find. From the outside, it looks like a residential building and the sign is hard to spot unless you're looking for it. All uneasiness drifts away the minute you enter into the small, bright lobby. When we arrived, we were tired and of course the room was not ready- due to our early arrival... more

After reading the glowing reports about WRH Tavestere on Trip Advisor, we reserved a room for our June 2009 week in Rome. Along with general satisfaction with the room, location, and facilities, we were looking for indications in the reviews that the staff was helpful, as this was our first stay in Rome in many years. The glowing reports turned... more

My husband and I stayed here for three nights (July 5-8, 2009). We had an incredible stay. Trastevere is a wonderful place to have as a base in Rome. We absolutely loved it. It has a real old-world charm to it with tons of restaurants and is accessible by foot to all the major tourist sites. Additionally, from Termini, you... more
