We stayed for three days, wandered in the city all day long and basically used the hotel for sleeping. Great value for the money. There are pros and cons. Pros are the hotel is close to a metro station and the line takes you directly to the Spanish steps and Rome center. The service at the hotel is very very... More

I never planned to stay overnight at the Hotel Tuscolana. A group of us were in Rome to see my partner's tap show. After the show, we met some other friends from Rome for a celebratory dinner that went on a little late. Long story short, we ended up missing the last train out of Rome to the Sabina and... More

We were stuck for a palce to stay in Rome because the last train had gone and we were at Tuscolana needing to get back into sabina (Poggio Mirtetto) and we didn't think we would find anywhere to stay that would come up to our usual sandard, but we were very surprised after having a look on tripadvisor for somewhere... Dear Guest, it was a great pleasure to have you here. The Hotel Tuscolana is always open and is very well located, just one block away from the Train and Metro station that connect the city center in around 10 minutes and the Airport in 15 minutes. The Hotel Tuscolana is very well equipped with Italian furniture , the breakfast... More

I chose this hotel by reading TripAdvisor's comments. And I was not disheartened. This hotel is very close to 'Roma Tuscalona' station and red Metro line 'Punto Lugo'. Even though the outside of this hotel is not very appealing, inside is very clean. Hotel employees were very nice and helpful. Three of us stayed there from 15th to 18th June,... More

My wife and I stayed here in early June for 3 nights in Rome. It was a little hard to find when we got into Rome late at night, but once we got out bearings, it was simple to find our way around the neighborhood and get to the Metro stops. Our room was small yet very comfortable and quiet,... More

Hotel is small but really nice. It is in good location near train station (Roma Tuscolana) and metro (Ponte Lungo). You can also walk to the city center, if you like walking. Rooms are tiny, but clean. Breakfast was okey. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Spent two nights in Rome sightseeing. Quiet location away from city noise. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble. All areas very clean and comfortable. Easy to get to either by Metro or mainline train. Restaurants very good locally within a short walk.

This is a lovely hotel, Small but completely adquate for your needs. We stayed for three nights in a small but very comfortable room. The area can be quite noisy, but there are metal blackout blinds that close and double glazed windows that keep the noise and the heat out. We had an air conditioning unit in our room, which... This hotel is out of the city center so if you don't want to take the metro back and forth stay somewhere else. However, the rooms are comfortable, staff was fantastic, wifi is great, air conditioning worked (unlike other places we stayed), and breakfast was great. We would spend the day in Rome, come back, clean up and then eat... More

I was staying in Rome for sixteen nights as I was working at the airport and needed somewhere which was not a prohibitively expensive airport hotel, but somewhere where I could access most areas of the city. The rooms were clean tidy and of a good size and breakfast kept me full for the working day, however the main thing... More
