Great value for money. Basic, clean, good size room (room 3). Nothing fancy. Breakfast is a hot and a cold drink and a croissant. If you need a good base for touring (no pun intended) this is it. Cheap and cheerful.

Very Basic Hotel like a backpackers. Rooms need a makeover including the bathroom. Only positive is that breakfast was great. Lovely coffee and croissant. Another positive was that is was walking distance to train station and not too far from the collesseum.

For €50 a night we were happy with this hotel. It is basic but clean. Good location right near termini station and metro stop. The breakfast is pretty bad! Good place to stay if all you want is somewhere to sleep while visiting Rome. Would stay again.

Rooms are less than average. Wouldn't go back unless I really was desperate for a hotel. Only good thing was it was close to the train station. Breakfast was included and I don't know if it was worth the value as it consisted on a good coffee and a delicious croissant. Not far from the colosseum which was a bonus.

stayed 3 nights and very pleased from check in to check out... Coffee and pastry served to the room each morning -- we asked for 830am and a sweet lady came knocking with a tray with delicious coffee and 2 pastries...

Hotel is a short walk from the train station. The room was very clean. Breakfast was included. Highly recommend. Couldn't ask for nicer people or a better value. Very much enjoyed the visit and will come again!

If you are after a budget hotel which is clean, surrounded by restaurant, very close to the main public transport hub Termini and with friendly personnel, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

The receptionist accommodated our early check-in without hassles, gave us map and guidance to visit Rome's timeless attractions. Our veg breakfast was good and wholesome! This is very close to the central station Termini - exit and walk left - ask for directions from the nearby fruit vendors if lost!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
