My girlfriend and I stayed here for our weekend trip, here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Hotel is easy to get to from Termini station - Close to number of sights (ie. S. Maria Maggiore; Piazza Republica are about 5 - 10min walk away) however Colossum is bit further (bout 25 - 30min walking) - Close to Metro... More

The family that runs the place is very nice. However, the room was extremely old looking and the furniture was very outdated. Also the bathroom wasn't great either. The location of the hotel was great as it was very close to Termini, but the hotel is nothing special at all. It definitely costs way to much money for not enough... More

Last week we went for a city trip to Rome with our school. We were with 11 teenagers and 2 teachers, and we were looking for a nice and not to expensive hotel. Hotel Principe Amadeo had the things we needed. The rooms were a bit basic, but also very cosy and comfortabel. As a group of teenagers, we were... More

We were looking for a hotel in the centre of Rome at a reasonable price and chose the Hotel Principe Amadeus. The hotel is convenient and clean but very basic, only the Reception area and the rooms. The rooms were fine, very clean, towels changed every day, smallish shower cubicle but fine for most people. If you just want somewhere... More

Was looking for an hotel to stay for 1 night before leaving Rome. It is located close to the Termini which is good, but beside that... It is a very basic hotel with rooms located on street level! All night we had to hear the cars, bikes, shouting, and what not and couldn't sleep for a second! Bottom line -... More

Dear Customer, I'm really sorry for your opinion and please accept my apologies. Let's try to check them together: The area surrounding this hotel is noisy, because there are a few small cafes within walking distance, I want to remind you that the hotel is located in the historic center. I don't agree "NOT RECCOMEND", Via Principe Amedeo is one... More

I was told it is very difficult to find a convenient accomodation in Rome, well, this is not the case of Hotel Principe Amedeo. Don't expect any luxus, however you get everything you need for resting after visiting the town: comfortable bed, toilet with shower, towels changed. The rooms are indeed quite spacious and functional for a 2 stars. Breakfast... More

Hotel is very well situated, 10 minutes by walk from the Termini station and also all the main sights are reachable on your own (Colloseum cca 35 minutes of walk) The staff is very plesant and willing, rooms offer all the neccesary for people who want to explore the city and not to spend their holiday inside the hotel. Rome was my last stop during my trip around Italy this summer, and I was kind of broke. So I thought I'd book a cheap central hotel... I read some reviews and this Principe Amedeo seemed nice.. But actually it was not. Do not expect much. It is 2 star hotel and nothing more than that. Not a good experience... More
