We visited this hotel with my fiance for a short city trip last year. We enjoyed our stay here, the location is great just near Roma Termini. Room was clean and big enough. However it can get noisy at night since it is located in the city centre. One thing that bugged me was that the owner closed the main... More

For a supposed 2 star hotel, this is a gem of a place! Less than 2 blocks to the train station and walking distance to all the main tourist sites. There are actually 2 hotels at this location, the other being Hotel Touring upstairs and that is how you find this place - the big sign outside says Hotel Touring.... More

We had a very warm welcome on arriving and throughout our stay. Our Room (7) was very clean and comfortable, it is quite noisy but I am a very light sleeper and slept very well, blackout curtains and very good double glazing helped. Don't hesitate to ask for anything they are very friendly.

We thought this hotel was great! The location was fantastic- we were a bit worried about it being close to the train station but it was actually very handy. Close to many nice restaurants and we actually walked from the hotel to all of the historic sites as we are keen walkers. The staff very very welcoming and friendly and... More

Travelled to Rome over a year ago and stayed in this hotel. It was very accessible as it was right beside the central train station and made it very easy to travel out of the city to our next destination and getting here was very easy from the airport. The rooms were simple. Ground floor had windows quite close to... More

We stayed only one night and then change hotel. The room is very small and the bathroom too. The mobile (Wind italia) doesnt have wave inside the room. We took a hotel in the same street with 3stars for only 10€ more, and we had a great time.

Dear customer, we are sorry for your opinion, but it is not our fault if the telephone signal Wind does not reach everywhere. (Tim and Vodafone don't have signal problems.) In addition, you have seen the room before booking it and you liked it, now why do you leave a negative judgment? We do not understand and if the problem... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with the gf and I was verry happy with the hotel. It was spotless, if we left the room for an hour after waking up we would return to a clean and tidy room with new towels. FYI...There is only a hand full of rooms in the hotel (5-6). The hotel is 5 minutes walk... More

Stayed one night before taking a morning train. It is a quick walk to Termini, and we were able to walk around and see quite a few sights the afternoon before. The hotel is on the first floor and there is some noise from the street, although the heavy windows mute it quite a bit. You can also hear the... More

Stayed two night in a double room. Our room was clean and simple. Its not 5 star, but we felt the price paid matched what we expected. Our room faced the street which initially we thought may have been noisy, but we weren't really bothered much. Location was convenient to everything we needed. Small shop right outside the door stocked... More

It was difficult to sleep in this hotel in the night. You could hear every step outside our room, door rings and others. Please remember, all the floor is covered by tile and if you are not looking an accomodation for a hot summer, you will have to go on the icely cold floor. This hotel does not worth its'... More

Dear Guest, thank you for posting your candid opinion on TripAdvisor. I just wanted to say that I am really sad that you did not find big value in your choice. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
