Excelent services and great location (10 mintes of walking to vatican) makes this hotel a good choice. At the time when we stayed there, it was 1 star hotel with crazy low prices. However, there is ongoing reconstruction and after that, it will be 2 stars hotel. I can only recomend :)

After booking this hotel for our x4night stay in late May, both me and my friend were worried after looking at the later reviews. However our fears were unnecessary. We were pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our stay. This is not a luxurious hotel by any standard and its facilities are basic. But if you are after a affordable... More

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and overlooked an inner courtyard. We were not expecting en suite, but the room included shower and wash basin with toilet just accross the corridor.Staff were friendly and quietly helpful. The area around the Hotel felt safe. It was in a tree lined avenue, close to a main shopping... More

We have stayed many, many times at the Nautilus in Rome and we'll always come back. The hotel has been fully renovated last year and when we arrived in July 2011, we were really surprised about the modern furniture and the great atmosphere. Having slept in the biggest room, we fully enjoyed our vacation. The hotel is kind of centrally... More

Nautilus Hotel is centrally located in Rome, not far from St. Peter's Square. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly, older gentleman and offered cappucino and pastries. Our guestroom accommodations were very minimal, a disappointment for 90 Euros/night during January. This property should be labeled "pensione" as "hotel" is a misleading term. It is more suitable for... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
