This very charming hotel almost hidden from view, was very ornate in its decor. When in the lobby area you feel like royalty with all the grand furniture. Although rooms small, they are ample big enough for your stay as out & about all day. Breakfast, great selection but don't expect a fry. Staff very helpful offering advice on where... More

The decor is very baroque and a touch over the top, but it IS the Hotel Romance. Our room was small and at times felt a little tight, but it wasn't a big deal since we were there to see Rome. The location (right near the Colosseum) was great hopping on the Metro (which is easy to use). If you... More

It was our first visit to Rome. We enjoyed very much staying in Hotel Romance. We found the position fantastic, walking distance to all sights of Rome and very good Restaurants and Wine bars in the neighbourhood. The Hotel it self suits Rome! It was very clean and everything seemed Well organized. Very friendly and service minded staff - breakfast... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 days and I'm pretty sure that I will stay there again during my next visit of Rome. The only thing I would ask to change are pillows other than that everything was great. The stuff was super pleasant, tried to do their best to help when needed, the location is great ,in the... More

I stayed at this hotel for four days during my honeymoon and I wish we had stayed somewhere else. Pros: great location, close to Colloseum. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Cons: Air conditioner in room did not work very well, breakfast was not very good and didnt taste fresh, elevator was very stuffy and slow, shower was tiny with nowhere... More

I must start this review by saying that if you come in contact with the British man at the front desk, do NOT ask him how he's doing or where he's from. He lectured us about how Americans are always asking how people are and where they're from when they shouldn't. He was rude. But other than that, the hotel... More

My husband and I just traveled to Italy in July 2014. We stayed in Hotel Romance in Rome and loved it! The location couldn't be beat. Every morning when we woke up we got to see the Colosseum. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything. The metro stop is a two minute walk away in case you don't feel... More

This is truly a hidden gem of the city! Only a couple minute walk away from the Colosseum (and only a few more after that to the Forum), it was a great location for getting around! We spent most of our trip heading in and out of Vatican City, which was about a 3 mile walk, but the walk, to... More
