The location of this hotel is hard to beat. It is several blocks from the transportation hub of Rome, close to the trains, the metro and the city buses, so it made getting around Rome and Italy so easy. Rooms are not a bad size for European hotels and have been renovated to include many conveniences. I appreciate the in... More

The hotel is situated 5 minutes away from Termini train station. The area is not very safe, due to of the illegal immigrants and be careful. Positives - the hotel is near to the main train station, to the hop-on and off buses, and other bus and tram stations. It's near to supermarket Conrad, near to a lot of pastries... More

We agonized over where to stay in downtown Rome. Let's face it - hotel rooms in central Rome are expensive and not very many got rave reviews in the area around the Termini Station. We finally decided on the Yes Hotel and it was an excellant choice. The Yes Hotel received so many favorable reviews that we decided to stay... More

Easy to find and to get to and from the airport as it's very close to Termini (Rome's main rail/ metro station) with plenty of transport options. Rooms on the small-ish side but comfortable, clean and well serviced; cleaned daily and clean towels every day. Good and plentiful breakfast choice and as much (good) coffee as you want, also available... More

Stayed at this property for 4 nights in April 2015. It's very near the train station, metro, and bus lines, so getting around Rome is pretty easy. Room was small but clean, and the beds were firm (a plus for us). No idea why they bother to charge extra for WiFi in the rooms, but at 5 euros per device... More

First visit to Rome. Stayed at the Yes Hotel for four nights. Web photos very deceiving, the rooms are tiny. beds and pillows need to be updated, However the rooms, in fact whole property was spotless. Housekeeping deserves a 5 star rating!!! Would stay again for one or two nights but no longer, there was no sitting area in the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
