I have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights this july, I have chosen it due to its location near termini, which was the best thing about the hotel, the area around the hotel is not much great, a lot of trash, the hotel room was ok, but nothing inside " like water, or coffee machine, there was a fridge... Stayed for 3 nights in this clean, budget hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Rome. The hotel is two blocks from the termini station and the metro so if you're staying in Rome for a couple of days, this is a hotel that has great value. So easy to get to all the sites from the metro without breaking... More

Our family of four (kids 11 and 10) stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and were very satisfied overall. Although the hotel is not situated in the nicest section of Rome, it is a short 5 minute walk to the metro and train station, which was so convenient. We arrived by train and had no issues pulling our suitcases... More

This is more like a chain hotel. The rooms are big and clean. The hotel is located near the main railway station. There are not so many nice restaurants near. You must pay for the wifi in your room. Breakfast was good but the coffee terrible.

Friendly service , 5 minutes from major train station , clean modern small rooms. We trained it from the airport easily to the hotel. Spent a few days and the trained it to Naples . A great base if needing to be close tithe train station . Lots of restaurants around. We could walk to Trevi fountain (20 mins)and colosseum... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here over a long weekend in Rome. There is really nothing that we could fault. Upon arrival we received a friendly welcome and a quick run-down of local amenities. Our room was very clean quite spacious and had everything you need for a long weekend break. Breakfast was included and suited our needs - there... More

A long overdue review. We booked this hotel for pre and post cruise. On both occasions, we were given free upgrades even though we only booked the smallest and cheapest room. Maybe it's because of my request for a baby cot which may need a bigger space for it (though I didn't request for the post cruise as we only... More

After reading so many glowing reviews, my wife and I made reservations and stayed for 4 nights in late June 2015. I kind of wish we hadn't. The Good - The room was clean, close to the Termini Train Station, walking distance to the Roman ruins and the Coliseum, and there is a refrigerator in the room, and a grocery... More

We had a room for 3. Very nice room. Good location near the Termini. Hotel staff very helpful. After we checked out, we realized my husband had lost his wedding ring. We called the hotel. They sent someone to look in our room and the maid found the ring. They mailed it to us. We were so grateful, as the... More

We chose this hotel because of its convenient location near Roma Termini and because of the reasonable rates. Our room was clean and comfortable, everything worked, and the breakfast was excellent, much more choice than usual in Italian hotels. The hotel is within walking distance of the Forum and Colosseo. The excellent archeological museums (National Museum of Rome) are just... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
