We stayed here for 4 nights in December/January. The location is fantastic, only a block from Termini station, which is a great hub for buses and the metro. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The desk was always manned, and this was very handy when coming back from New Years Eve celebrations quite late. The breakfasts were good and had... More

From the moment we entered the Lobby the Yes Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was pleasant and helpful! They quickly got us into our room so we could enjoy Rome for the first time. They made the usual mundane experience of check in quite breezy! The hotel in centrally located to the main transportation hub Termini Station, there... More

I have tried many of the lower cost hotels close to Termini station, all have rock hard beds, poor breakfasts, and a general unloved/unhelpful atmosphere. That was until I found YES Hotel. What a difference; comfortable firm but not rock hard beds, friendly and helpful staff, a really good breakfast buffet, modern and clean rooms and facilities. Secure luggage storage... More

YES is a boutique hotel very conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk from Termini Station. It is also within walking distance of several significant historical sites. Termini is the transport hub for anywhere you would want to go in Rome. It is the main railway station for both local and inter-city trains, buses and taxis. It is also a... More

We stayed at the Yes hotel over the Thanksgiving holiday There were 4 adults and 3 grandchildren. The first night they were overbooked (although we had made reservations months in advance) so they put us up right across the street in a quite suitable substitute. Next morning, we packed up and were able to get into our rooms for the... More

We stayed at Yes for one week. The hotel is in a great location about 5 minutes walk from the area next to the railway station where the Airport bus stops. The metro and hop on hop off buses are both 5 minutes away. There are many restaurants in the area, a good supermarket and a shopping centre within 5... More

Hotel was very close to Rome Termini, a short 5 minutes away. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was not bad, decent selection. Only drawback was no free wifi in room. Other than that, well worth the price paid.

I just keep coming back! The location is great - easy to walk to from the train station even with bags. I have to admit this time we got the worst room we have ever stayed in - I mean pretty standard drcor but this room had a view of (an alley? dungeon?) - I didn't know they had such... More

I was a solo female traveller and I booked this hotel after reading the reviews here and was not disappointed. Staff very friendly from the moment I checked in. They recommended places to eat and gave me a very handy map of Rome. Breakfast provided every morning between 7am-10am and there was a wonderful selection of pastries. The room itself... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
