This is a small hotel with small rooms, but it is very clean and tidy and well furnished. It is also extremely convenient being so close to the station. The only complaint I had was that the pillows were very thin and hard so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked. I should have asked at reception... More

Clean and lovely hotel literally next to Termini station. We visited Rome in March 2015, took the train from the airport and it took us less than 5 min to walk from Termini to hotel. It has a perfect location as a starting point for all your trips, Termini is a crossing of A and B tube lines. If you... More

We've just returned from 4 nights at the Yes hotel and would definitely return. We took a wrong turn out of the station in the rain to get there, but it is easy to find and well placed for the Termini which we used every day. The breakfasts were plentiful - croissants bacon scrambled egg rolls pastries & cereal -... More

Lovely clean hotel near to the Termini which was a plus as we used the Metro a few times. Rooms are not huge, but why do you need a huge room anyway? After all it is only for sleeping and changing in! Bathroom was a nice size, lovely and clean which is so important. Beds were quite firm, but slept... More

We visited Rome and choose the Yes Hotel and glad we did. It is located close to the main transport hubs, both Train, Metro and Buses. It is in a side street with plenty of restaurants in the area and staff can recommend good ones. The rooms are clean and we had a ground floor room which was spacious and... More

The Yes Hotel is located very close to the train station, but it is quite close to the main intersection so you don't feel like you're lost in the rabbit warren of hotels back there. It is beautifully renovated with very modern fixtures (including a very satisfactory bathroom). My room was small, but a perfect sanctuary of quiet and cool... More

Recently spent six nights at this hotel, which was good value for money. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very functional. It was a nice surprise to find the usual Continental breakfast supplemented by scrambled egg, bacon and sausages, although not quite as we English would expect them! The only downside was... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in October 2014. We found it to be a very convenient hub for our visit to the city. It is a very short walk from the main train station (Termini) and metro lines A and B. We stayed on the main floor and had a window facing the street. I was initially... More

We stayed at the Yes Hotel from the 8th to the 11th of March 2015. Our stay was very enjoyable, the hotel was well furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a triple room which was fine. We overlooked the street which was quite noisy. It was very warm. The breakfast could have been more varied, scrambled eggs every day.... The... More

For 5 nights we wrre4 only £250 including breakfast. People on here complained about noise. Yes there was some but it did not disturb my sleep. I imagine that anywhere u stay... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
