I'd like to share my experience in Rome thank's the Hotel Barret ospitality. The Hotel Barret owners were always very kind and suggested me a lot of interesting "Antica Roma" tours expaining me several secrets of the Romans and their empire. My room in Hotel Barret was very quiet and full of useful facilitations ( breakfat self made thanks a... More

Tired to stay at usual and anonymous "boutique" hotels having the same common atmosphere, we have finally found an original and particularly nice hotel in the heart of Rome. The interior decoration of the rooms with their very comfortable services inside reflect the owners' love for their work and the city of Rome. A very good complete breakfast can be... More

I was traveling alone in Rome and stayed here for three nights October 6-8, 2014. I will ALWAYS stay here when I return to Rome. The staff were very helpful, and were very sweet and concerned about my safety, providing me with maps and guidebooks and directions to my destinations in the city. I felt very safe, relaxed and pampered... More

An amazing find! Michael and his staff made our stay in Rome a highlight of our three months travel through Europe. He willing shared his love & knowledge of the history of Rome and mapped out some great day trips that included hidden gems we would never have found. The location of the pensione was central to all major sites.... More

The warmest hospitality you may get in Rome! This is not only a boutique hotel but a 2nd home. I am originally from Paris and always thought there could be nothing more charming than “le Marais", but this was before I have been staying at the Hotel Pensione Barrett in Rome. Rooms are so cosy and equipped with anything you... More

I have been fortunate to visit Rome several times in the past, but my stay at the Pensione Barrett was hands down my favorite experience in Rome yet. Our visit started with a warm welcome by the receptionist and we were treated with consistent care by the pensione's proprietors and staff alike throughout our stay. I would recommend this establishment... More

I was really "enchantée" by the friendly welcome offered by the owners on my arrival in their hotel in Rome. I immediately felt at home in my room and, as it was very late in the evening, I was happy to have supper in my room with a choice of "delicatesses" at my disposal. The bathroom was extremely clean and... More

Hidden in a lovely building near the Largo Argentina, Penione Barrett, is a great value for money gem that is located just steps away from the Pantheon, Campo di Fiore, Piazza Navone and other Roman highlights. The owners, the same family for around 40 years, have taken special attention to the issues of the Roman tourist. Each room has a... More

So "boutique" that the cab driver had to stop and ask other drivers if they ever heard of it. Locked up fortress with full time apartments, lobby was dark, dreary, internet connection was terrible in lobby, couldn't even use to book another hotel. Left, lost two days rental and walked to find a real hotel.

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
