Although there's not elevator, when you get upstairs to the room, it's a nice hidden surprise. We got Room 7, which was recently renovated. Classic style, but very new and nice. Large bathroom with Jacuzzi and sparkling clean. WiFi was amazing, because the router was right outside the door, so we had ultra fast speeds and good reception.

Nice cosy hotel right next to the Colloseum for a great price. Breakfast was offered and included in the price, room was huge and an a bit of a comtemporary style. Room and hotel was very clean. Hotel even offered a private taxi drive for the same price of a taxi for our return to the airport in the morning.... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location can't be beat, the rooms were very nice and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had every thing we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Mike and Grace

We stay here 2 nights, our room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, breakfast is sufficient. Our only complaint is the customer service which is almost nonexistent, when you ask for general information about the city. There's a pub downstairs which can be slightly noisy but we didn't have a problem with this, we slept like babies.

I booked the room before I read the complaints.... I decided I would still keep my reservation. I loved staying here and I would stay again. The coliseum is right across the street. The customer service was great. It felt like Rome to me.

Myself and 3 friends booked The Imperial Rooms for a long weekend of sightseeing in Rome. We went on location and it was such a good price. OK, so it's not a posh, smart chain, but that adds to the quirky nature of the hotel and area. After booking I contacted the hotel for advice on certain areas and travel.... More

Customer service here is pathetic. Our air conditioner broke and they refused to help us find another room or give us a refund. We ended up back on the street late at night looking for a room on our own. Another hotel that was fully booked found us a room at a competitor and got us a cab no questions... More

So sorry Mr Paul, You checked-in in the afternoon and claimed a problem with the air conditioning only at midnight. Unfortunately it is not possible to do something during the night time at 01.00 a.m. However the following morning we realized the air conditioning was working properly. In fact the room has been booked and used immediately by other guests... More

In spite of the positive reviews and ratings, I personally found this hotel extremely disappointing and, if anyone values a well deserved holiday in a beautiful city, then they should not book a room in this hotel. Pros: Good location. Cons (I have pictures of all the cons below, just in case anyone wants proof). - If I said extremely... More

This place is amazing, Colosseo it's next to your window. .. amazing and friendly staff...Nice room and everything is clean... We arrive quite late... around 22.30 but there wasn't a problem because the reception is 24h. ..in the room is an minibar and you can buy water beer or cold tea at very decent prieces. ..

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
