I stayed here for 5 nights in the single room during Christmas and I enjoyed my stay very much! The metro station is right around the corner that can take you to major attraction sites and also Colosseum is within walking distance. The room has everything that a hotel offers: clean towels, kitten, mini bar. Hot breakfast is prepared every... More

As a normally very good/organised traveller I encountered so many problems in my journey through Italy, specifically in Rome. Barbra was so accommodating and helpful, the best service and accom I have stayed in - even back home. I cannot recommend enough, truly. The location is so close to the manzino metro and most major sites, the decor is beautiful... More

It was my first time in Rome and I was overwhelmed by this nice accommodation. From the cleanliness over hospitality and support in any questions I can definitely recommend this house. I was there for two nights, all the attractions can be reached by foot.

My daughter, teenage grandson and I spent 4 very comfortable nights at Ad Hoc Domus. It was spotlessly clean, quite, handy to all other services. Barbara, the manager is a pleasure to deal with. Breakfast, coffee and a croissant is served in the bar downstairs is a good start for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We have just happily spent 4 nights here. Situated within a typical Roman historic apartment building the decor is elegant & the rooms spotless, & extremely quiet. The host Barbara is so helpful & accommodating. & the A line metro station extremely close (2 stops from Termini). The neighbourhood felt safe & has lots of little places to eat. Just... More

I was greeted by a friendly smiley face and a bottle of sparkling wine! Lovely start. Inside my room was a big bowl of fruit that was topped up throughout the week. The mini bar was reasonably priced. Room very comfortable and cleaned daily. I was 10 minutes walk away from the colosseum and there was a metro station at... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
