Would of been perfect if the WiFi signal in our room was stronger. Wifi in the reception was great but very weak in room 4. Breakfast was simple but all you need. It was prepared and given to each room each morning. Good central location. Great bed. Great bathroom.

I recently stayed at Kame hall and enjoyed the stay. Would have given it a 5 however we stayed in room 4 and the WiFi was had a very weak signal and was extremely slow. The WiFi works well in the main reception so we used it there. Room 4 was also pretty noisy, situated right next to the kitchen.... More

My husband and I could not be happier about our stay at Kame Hall. From even before we booked the hotel they were wonderful. I was worried about booking because of a late check-in but they got back to me quickly and assured me it was not a problem. They emailed us the day before our arrival with the code... More

We had a great experience at this hotel! First of all, the location is great! Also, the free breakfast in the room was amazing and the staff was very nice and helpful with everything including directions, telling us what to see, and even giving us water bottles before we left because it would be hot outside. All of the staff... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights earlier this month and LOVED it. It's in a perfect location for walking to all the major attractions, the river, the Campo Di Fiori. While the Vatican is walkable, there is easy bus service about 5 minutes from the B&B that will drop you just outside the Vatican Walls. You can grabe... More

We stayed at Kame Hall a year ago (I'm a bit late to jump on the TripAdvisor bandwagon). We were welcomed by the breakfast cook who was so lovely & assisted us with our bags! When the owner arrived we were told there had been an issue with our booking & our room had been double booked, but he told... More

If you are looking for spacious and clean well-furnished rooms, central location in Rome, privacy and great value for money- this is the place one should be staying at! Almost a walking distance from the main attractions and major bus-stop, my wife and me are definitely staying here again during our next visit to Rome. Rome is never enough!

My wife and I had not done B & B's before, but we're sold on them now! Our first visit to Italy and what a way to start. Wonderful little piazza (with a fountain) outside our window, 3 restaurants within 30 seconds of our room! 1 block from a main drag. About 6 blocks or so south of the Pantheon.... More

Kame Hall is a great choice if you are visiting Rome. It is centrally located yet not right in the middle of the throngs of tourists. The room was large, well designed and clean. The staff was kind and very helpful.

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
