We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights earlier this month and LOVED it. It's in a perfect location for walking to all the major attractions, the river, the Campo Di Fiori. While the Vatican is walkable, there is easy bus service about 5 minutes from the B&B that will drop you just outside the Vatican Walls. You can grabe... More

We stayed at Kame Hall a year ago (I'm a bit late to jump on the TripAdvisor bandwagon). We were welcomed by the breakfast cook who was so lovely & assisted us with our bags! When the owner arrived we were told there had been an issue with our booking & our room had been double booked, but he told... More

If you are looking for spacious and clean well-furnished rooms, central location in Rome, privacy and great value for money- this is the place one should be staying at! Almost a walking distance from the main attractions and major bus-stop, my wife and me are definitely staying here again during our next visit to Rome. Rome is never enough!

My wife and I had not done B & B's before, but we're sold on them now! Our first visit to Italy and what a way to start. Wonderful little piazza (with a fountain) outside our window, 3 restaurants within 30 seconds of our room! 1 block from a main drag. About 6 blocks or so south of the Pantheon.... More

Kame Hall is a great choice if you are visiting Rome. It is centrally located yet not right in the middle of the throngs of tourists. The room was large, well designed and clean. The staff was kind and very helpful.

Stayed in Kame Hall two weeks ago. We could not be happier with a choice I made for the hotel in Rome. This beautiful B&B exceeded all our expectations for the quality of the room, location and breakfast. It is located in heart of Rome, 5-10 minutes aways from Nevona square, Colloseum, Jewish quarters and Marcello theatre, 30 min wlaking... More

The room was big, clean and had a great view! The staff was really helpful and Larry's breakfast was amazing (ask for his omelette). You should know it's a B&B, so there is no receptionist all day long! Hope to be there again soon!

When we arrived in front of the hotel, we couldn't believe we will be staying there, at a little square where people come to see the fountain and everything. Kame Hall is literally smack in the middle of the old Rome. Everything is within a more than comfortable waking distance. Sara and Larry (and the third guy, sorry we forgot... More

Stayed in Kame Hall in Rome in January, set in the Jewish Quarter in central Rome this is a 20 minute walk to anywhere in the city. The hotel is an immaculately kept B&B with great service. We were greeted at the door, asked what we would like for our breakfast for all days, and shown a map of Rome... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
