The room was big, clean and had a great view! The staff was really helpful and Larry's breakfast was amazing (ask for his omelette). You should know it's a B&B, so there is no receptionist all day long! Hope to be there again soon!

When we arrived in front of the hotel, we couldn't believe we will be staying there, at a little square where people come to see the fountain and everything. Kame Hall is literally smack in the middle of the old Rome. Everything is within a more than comfortable waking distance. Sara and Larry (and the third guy, sorry we forgot... More

Stayed in Kame Hall in Rome in January, set in the Jewish Quarter in central Rome this is a 20 minute walk to anywhere in the city. The hotel is an immaculately kept B&B with great service. We were greeted at the door, asked what we would like for our breakfast for all days, and shown a map of Rome... More

Absolutely amazing stay, I don't think there is a better one for the price in Rome. Even without taking the great price into account, the location is perfect (within 15 minutes walk of everything in Rome), the rooms are clean and modern, and the service is amazing. Larry is the one who cleans the rooms, makes breakfast, and takes care... More

A cozy and wonderful hotel located near all the attractions. Walking distance to whatever you want to do or see. The service was absolutely wonderful. The staff is very nice and helpful. Will book my next stay at the same hotel!

The hotel is located at the heart of Rome (at the most 20 minutes walking from everywhere). Big rooms, paceful place and the better this was the staff, many thanks for the hospitality of Larry, thanks to Sara and his useful advices and to Vittorio too... If we come back we repeat without a doubt.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Kame Hall in November 2014. We had got lost trying to find the hotel however we contacted the hotel and one of the staff met with us at an agreed meeting point which we were pleased about. The hotel is hidden down a cobbled street which adds to its charm. On entering the hotel,... More

Rome was our first stop on an Italian vacation, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay at Kame Hall. We stayed in the suite/largest room, and it was just perfect. Modern feel and a large bathroom. Silvia was so welcoming when we arrived and took the time to orient us to Rome and show us various sites on... More

A little delight in the heart of Rome, 6 minutes walk to The Pantheon, 15 minutes to The Colusseum, 25 minutes to The Vatican - couldn't have asked for better. Met and greeted by Larry and Sylvia who were very welcoming and happy to help with directions, restaurant reservations and arranging a return taxi to airport. Twin room very clean... More

Will stay there again without a doubt! What a great location for this small and quaint lodging as it only hosts four rooms in total which are very spacious, clean and chic looking! The wonderful owner Vittorio, sweet receptionist Silvia and attentive room attendant Larry, we felt that we had won the lottery by choosing this hotel as their friendliness... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
