Stayed here with the family - BIG mistake - they are still reminding me about my poor choice months later. This is not a hotel - more like staying in a private apartment. It is nothing like the photos on the website - the room, beds and public areas are very shabby. The kids bed in our room was a... More

Service was terrible, place was a mess and could not get refund even tho he did not provide the number of beds we had requested. The owner does not give legal receipts as required by Italian law, he writes amount on a sheet of paper and wants you to pay it.

Good location as it was very close the Vatican and the subway station but the room wasn't as was in the pictures. It was in desperate need of updating and a bit of cleaning. If all you care about is being in a central location then I'd recomend it but if you're planning in spending any more time there than... More

It's a nice place with strategic location, very close and convinient to the Vatican museum, St.Peter's basilica, and close to a bus station, from where you can reach all of the important historical places in the city. There is a metro-station in a walk distance, nice shops and friendly restaurants. The room was tidy, every day cleaned and changing the... More

The place was clean enough, but our room was too small and we had no en suite bathroom...the location is in the heart of Vatican so it's great, but the breakfast is absolutely disappointing...in the end it's a bit pricy for what you get. Ok for young couples but I wouldn't go there as a family.

The rooms has nothing to do with pictures. The owner is unfriendly, rude and unclear. It is in the first floor but the owner doesn't allow costumers to take the elevator, not even when you are carrying suitcases. In middle of winter he apologized (once we where there) because the heater didn't work, he said he was waiting to let... More

We stayed here for 6 days. Convenient location near Metro and Vatican. My son and I enjoyed Armando, the innkeeper. He had a friendly, welcoming manner. We had paid in full on line before arrival, with a credit card. We accepted the no refund policy due to the excellent rate, but it was a relief to find a clean comfortable... More

it fits the backpackers, not for young kid, owner is very helpfull and gracious; only downside is front door of aparment and room windows are facing the street trash bins... so be carefull with your rubbish, cover them yo avoid inviting flies/mosquitos.

Reservation made before hand expecting to pay 300 euros on arrival. Prior to arriving our credit card was charged 234 Euros. When I questioned (via email), they replied it was a discounted rate, and a bottle of wine would be waiting for us upon arrival. So expecting that since it was initiated by them I did not have 300 euros... More

We only stayeed three nights, but were very satisfied. Location is perfect just 2 blocks from Vatican City. Rooms are more than adequate if you don't spend much time there - clean, comfortable, secure. Breakfast is light and just what one needs before starting the day. We arranged a van to/from the airport - a bit pricy but a really... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
