In early October, my wife and I arrived in Rome from Florence, not realizing that Baldassini B&B is located virtually halfway between the Vatican and the Coliseum. Thus, we were able to walk with ease to many of the major sites in Rome. Francesco, the owner/manager, met us on arrival and got us settled in, and he patiently answered all... More

We arrived late at night (9 PM) but had arranged by email with the owner on how to get into B&B. He left a key for us and codes to get in. This B&B is located in a building with other flats. There are three guestrooms, all en-uite. The front desk is simply a desk in the hallway. We picked... More

This first floor, old style, poor serviced apartments pretend to be a nice and expensive B&B in the city center. False. The rooms are poor, clean but poor. TV and Wi-Fi badly work, no amenities and a uncomfortably bathroom gave me the idea that this accomodation should not be listed in websites' offers.

Although Baldassini did not have the biggest room, it came with so many extras that it didn't matter. The room size was quite adequate. The bed was firm, but might need a turn as there was a slight sag where people lay. What I did like was that there was loads of storage in the room and bathroom. There was... More

Located a short two blocks away from the Pantheon, this B&B is ideally located for walking to most of the major attractions and sites in central Rome. We reserved two rooms for 3 nights for my family of four adults. Unlike the typical B&B, Baldassini is really a group of four rooms on the second floor of a residential building... More

We stayed here 3 nights & it was so close to everything. The room was a good size & clean. We had a room overlooking the street below and enjoyed watching the people below. The lady who worked there was wonderful, she was so helpful & friendly! Would definitely recommend it was an amazing stay.

Baldassini was everything expected, nice little cozy place to stay, close to main tourist areas as Vatican City, Patheon, Piazza Navona etc. Also free wifi and breakfast. Eventhoug the staff was not present at the time of arrival, they left us all the instructions, keys, maps, list of recomended restaurants etc. We felt like we were staying on a friend's house.... This b&b was absolutely perfect for our 4 night stay in Rome. The staff were so helpful, before we visited I asked for advice on tours and transfers and they gave me excellent recommendations. On arrival Francesco went through all the popular tourist attractions and provided helpful tips and hints for where to buy tickets and when to visit. He... More

This B&B located around the corner from the Pantheon is in the perfect location to get everywhere (vatican, colloseum, spanish steps etc) by foot. The only place we took a taxi was to the train station. It is located in the old town with tiny cobbled streets which are pleasant to walk around in, and has lots of restaurant options... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
