We spent two nights here in August ( a good time to visit Rome when the roads are clear as the city empties for the holidays) and could not have enjoyed it more. Service was excellent and very friendly. Breakfasts were just right and we loved both our lunch and our dinner. Especially the boiled potato covered in truffle, the... More

This is a high end and unique boutique hotel in the heart of Rome but away from all the touristy kitsch. It is an old mansion/villa that has been converted into a hotel. Every room is unique and interesting. The breakfast that is included is wonderful. Exploring the house is incredible. Service is excellent. All furnishings and decore is top-notch.... More

This hotel was outstanding. We loved everything about it, including the decor, location, spotlessly clean rooms, attentive staff members, and delectable breakfast buffet. It was no surprise to learn that the hotel is owned by members of the Fendi family. We were especially pleased with the helpfulness of the staff, who upgraded us at no charge to a larger room... This place does not feel like a hotel but that you have been invited to stay with your very tasteful friends in their incredible villa in this peaceful and beautiful area of Rome. We have now stayed here 3 times and the last time for a week and it really felt like home. The staff are incredibly attentive, the breakfast... More

Picture does no justice to this place. Its so beautiful from the moment you walk through the front door and out the garden to your villa. Close to all main attraction but yet far enough so you won't feel congested by all the tourist attraction. Delicious complimentary breakfast with your stay. It was our first time to Rome and I'm... This hotel is beautiful. Superbly appointed, designed, restored. It is a pleasure to walk around the villa and garden and to be transported to another time. But that is all you are getting. The service and most importantly servicing and upkeep is dismal. One gets the impression that the Fendi family lavished all of their abundant taste and skills on... More

Good: - Very clean room and bathroom. - Good shower. - Very good bed and pillows. - Nice staff. - Classic decoration and garden around the villa. Not so good: - Not great interior design combining classic decoration with modern furniture and mirrors. - Simple breakfast. - We got a room that faced the building next to the Villa and... More

Everything about Villa Laetitia exudes history, art, culture and taste-totally compatible to Rome itself. It may not have the room size of most American Hotel chains but it is unique in the experience of traveling back to time. Strong wi-fi signal and excellent quality breakfast complement the Laetitia experience. Worth every penny spent.

I was looking forward to Rome but had no idea of what kind of warm welcome I would get from Paolo Lubrani and his crew! I had some bad news as a friend that I was to visit in Abruzzo needed to have some last minute surgery during the time that I was to visit so I was pretty much... More

We changed hotel to go there and we did well! Staff is lovely and always smiling! Breakfast super yummy. The building is beautiful and rooms are divided in 2 sides, some rooms are in the main villa and others are in a different building. The decoration is amazing, tiles, furnitures, beautiful mirrors, frescos, art deco doors and windows, the ambiance... More
