Just checked out after a week's stay. The good: Cheap, free reliable WiFi, good size rooms, free shuttle to colli albani metro station and Ciampino airport at set times, clean rooms, outdoor swimming pool The bad The Location as mentioned by others is about 1-1.5 h by public transport to tourist attractions Taxi costs about e30 from Ciampino and e48... Very bad mistake to go to this hotel if you want easy access to Rome. Be prepared for a bus journey and then a metro journey and at least an hour to get into town. The hotel shuttle service is very unreliable, infrequent and will only take you to the nearest metro, which still then involves a 30 minute metro... More

I stayed here recently to be close to rome ciampino airport offering a free shuttle service. I was told by receptionist on arrival to be outside for 7. On the actual day the shuttle bus had broken down, supposedly the day before. There was a tiny sign on reception and that was the only notice they had of this! So... More

We stayed 4 nights. Received service everyday, just the sheets weren't changed and they changed the towels only when we put them in the bath. The room was clean and spacious. Location isn't the best, but we didn't have any problems with that. 15 min walk from the hotel you can find beautiful aqueduct park while on the opposite side... More

we were on a suicide mission, high school tour bus group. the hotel was clean and quite, but a place that caters to budget tour bus groups. neither the worst nor the best place our tour group stayed at, just average.

We did not choose this hotel - we stayed here while traveling with an organized tour. The hotel specializes in large tour groups; the front desk was frequently overwhelmed. A minor plumbing problem in our bathroom was finally taken care of after several requests. The hotel is not near anything - no cafes, shops, or any hint of Italian culture.... More

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Capannelle and enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, and spacious. Staff were informative on how to catch the bus and train to city center without driving. Walking distance to bus stop. It is a good place to stay if you are driving to different parts of southern Italy. Breakfast was goods. Lots of choices.... More

Stayed here for one night on a trip throughout Italy. Needed to be close to ciampino airport for flight next morning. Came in by train from northern Italy. Did not have car and took train from main station of Roma termini to capannelle station. Then walked to hotel. I do not recommend this route. It was a lot of back... More

Our entire experience was bad, because the air conditioning of our room (no.146) was not working. But the bad part is that they didnt bother to fix it. We were here for 2 nights and the AC controls are with the reception, you cant even change the temperature settings for your room. The heat made the sleep really uncomfortable. Location:... More

This was our first trip to Italy and I chose this hotel just for one night, for our return trip back from Venice. When looking at the hotel location on a map, it appeared that it was close to the Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci airport, however it is not. It is closer to the Ciampino airport and hotel has... More
