3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

In the middle of a residential area sits a rather tired looking hotel. Looks more like a hostel - decor drab and dreary. It's miles from Rome city centre and the airport at Fiumancino and the beaches. Taxi fares there are astronomical so beware. You also have to get a bus to the nearest metro if you don't have a... The hotel is ok but to get to a metro you need to take a bus or shuttle service, it was in a fairly good position for us because we hired a car for the week and it is positioned around halfway between Rome center and the beach so we also included days to the beach and country side but... More

I cannot really fault this hotel for anything, I stayed for business and was really good, staff was nice and helpful, spotlessly cleaned. If anything the Restaurant on site has almost no vegetarian choice but that's really being fussy. It's well lactated for public transport to go to other areas of Rome.

unlike the Italian people, staff were so unfriendly, unhelpful and grumpy ( except one receptionist and shutlle driver- Nicola & Christin who were so lovely). I would not consider to stay there again, for sure. we could get much better hotels with the amount we have paid. nothing like a 4 stars hotel at all. swimming pool was not open... More

Just arrived home after a two night trip to Rome with my boyfriend, his sister and his mum. The hotel was very clean, spacious and the staff (although some didn't speak very good English) were very helpful and polite. The rooms were also very spacious, clean and had large comfy beds! The bathrooms were also very clean although in one... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of our tour of Greece and Turkey. The room was pleasant and clean, but the WiFi was "down" most of the time we were there. Soap bars were very small and lasted only through two showers and there were no wash rags, which appears to be a trend in... More

Big large beds and a clean and big room. Good staff and delicious breakfast for few bucks. The only thing that is not as good as the hotel is the local. It is far from the downtown and the touristic spots. If you want to stay here, be prepared to take buses and metros to get to your destination. Besides... More

We stayed at Hotel Campannelle during our family vacation to Europe in June 2013. We arrived late in the evening so we had missed the hotel shuttle from the airport (which in the days we were there we never saw at all). We arrived and had to wait a long time to check in. We get to the room and... More

This was an older 4 star hotel that have been greatly updated, so of course a few quirks, but we loved our stay here. Everyone on staff was greatly pleasant and very helpful. Several times we took the local buses into town to shop and visit with no problems at all. We usually took a cab into old town Rome... More

We LOVED this hotel from the very beginning. Even though we didn't know very much Italian, there was always someone English speaking enough on duty to understand our requests. The hotel service was excellent, clean comfortable room and very classy touches , it really looked and felt like a 5 star hotel to us. We were traveling with our six... More
