At the beginning of September we went on a two day break to Rome and stayed at the Hotel Rosetta. The location of the hotel was perfect within a five minute walk of the Colosseum. Hotel Rosetta was located on a main street (Via Cavour) but was very quiet as the main door to the premises entered into a courtyard.... more

We stayed at this hotel and it was great. If you are planning to visit Rome, you'll only need a place to sleep and shower unless you are planning to use the hotel for more things. If this is your case, this hotel is not your best choice. This one in particular has three good things: Great Location, Good Price... more

We stayed there for six nights altogether, five night at the beginning of our trip and one night in the end. Our room is on the first floor pretty close to the reception desk. It was old but VERY CLEAN. However the shower stall is ridiculously small. And I mean it. My husband and I are both mid-size Chinese -... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rosetta. Our room was clean, comfortable, air-conditioning worked great, and the bathroom was downright spacious ... especially considering bathrooms we saw in other hotels in Italy. Once you enter off the busy Via Cavour into the courtyard, it's much quieter. Our room was up a flight of stairs from check-in, and our window... more

Hotel Rosetta is a nice place for the price and location. It is by no means grand, but you get what you pay for. Had a twin room with ensuite bathroom overlooking (sometimes noisy/always smoky) courtyard. Maid service daily, internet a block away, close to Colosseum, walking distance to Trevi and to a Metro stop. Always felt safe in the... more

This is not a bad option for the price, but you can do better. The room was old but clean, no breakfast or internet. The location is good - near Coliseu, Fontana di Trevi, subway. Our problem was the owners - we booked 4 nights, but on the third we decided to leave in the next day. The night before,... more

We stayed in Rosetta hotel in Rome for 2 nights in the end of October. I must say that it was an excellent choice in terms of location, cost, staff and sanitary. First - the location of course. Just a few minutes away from the Roman Forum and the Colleseum. 10 minutes away from Piazza Venezia and you can calculate... more

We (Me and my wife) stayed at Hotel Rosetta for 3 nights. Family own/run hotel makes it friendly. Not like a typical commercialized hotel. Via Cavour is located heart of the City. Roman Forum and The Colosseum or Roman Coliseum are virtually located virtually a stone throw away. Rooms are not fantastic, but good enough for people who just want... more

We were at the Hotel Rosetta for a family wedding - the family owned and run hotel is very basic as the price of €90 per room per night would indicate. Family members were lovely and very helpful - thank you Franchesca. Room was kept very clean - no meals provided or coffee/tea, no safe or hairdryer, but you would... more

Location, location, location! Great value for a great location. Our trip to Rome lasted only 2 nights, so we didn't spend much time at the hotel. It was perfect for us-- a good night's sleep and a clean restroom. We found the hotel through the Let's Go Italy book and were able to e-mail the hotel directly for a reservation.... more
