Service: The staff is very friendly and helpful. One of them offered to carry our luggage up to our 3rd flood bedroom. He gave us a map of Rome upon our arrival. On our departure day, we could leave our bags at the reception and the other staff person nicely offered to book a taxi to the airport for €55.... More

This hotel was a bit difficult to find when we first got to Rome. We got lost for several minutes and people around didn't know where it was located either. Cars aren't allowed down the alley it is located in so we wandered around by foot, lugging our bags with us. The hotel is located up an alley, very close... More

Excellent location; within walking distance to piazzas (especially camp di fiori at night; absolutely beautiful). Good quality for what you're paying. Good breakfast. Rooms are of a good size and clean. Water smelled a bit of sulphur, though, which was a bit unsettling, but can't complain overall. Staff (Peter and Daniel) were very nice and welcoming. Would go back if... More

This was my second stay at Relais Palazzo Taverna and it has only gotten better. Our room was extremely reasonable for a Saturday night in Rome, hundreds of Euro's less than some of the nice hotels in town. We had updated decor with fun LED lighting. There was a nice bathroom, a small kitchen, a living room and a lofted... More

We stayed at the hotel last week for just one night before we left to come back home. It was booked on-line and 30 minutes later we walked into the hotel. The staff was very helpful at check- in and the hotel details were explained to us. Our room was very pleasant and clean and great since it had an... More

We loved our stay here! Nice rooms, very clean, and quite large for European standards. The location is fantastic: very close to Piazza Navona and a 15-20 min walk to the Vatican. A lovely neighbourhood with plenty of cute restaurants and cafés. Oh, and the best gelato is around the corner too (Gelateria del Teatro). The front desk staff were... More

The location is genuinely fantastic for this hotel. Walking distance to the vatican and colosseum and on top of all the great sites of the centro storico. We also found the staff really friendly and helpful. The reason for only 3 stars in based on one thing which other travellers may not experience - the breakfast. In general its fine... More

Stayed for four nights at this hotel. It is in a fantastic location. One can walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's basilica and to piazza navona. The hotel is in a very charming area with plenty of eateries to fit every wallet! It is also very safe as it is close to the Government offices and there are many... More

I really liked this B&B. I can't call it a hotel since it's more of a BNB. Very nice staff but they speak little English. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning. We stayed in room 201 and it was very comfortable. Double bed, shower and a small courtyard/ balcony that overlooks the courtyard on the 1st floor but... More

We stayed here for one night in June 2014 on the recommendation of a friend. It was the perfect base to explore Rome as it is very close to the cafés and restaurants of the Piazza Navona but also within easy walking distance of the Vatican and the Pantheon. We also walked to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and Colosseum... More
