Just back from 4 night stay here with my grandmother. Staff could not have been friendlier & more helpful. Room was superb, much larger than we had anticipated it would be! Free WiFi access that had a great connection speed all over the hotel. Overall, excellent stay in a great location to explore the city!

We just returned from a 3night stay in the hotel on our first trip to Rome. The hotel is in a really good location, within walking distance to a lot of the nice districts like trastevere and campo di fiori! The hotel was really clean, breakfast was good and the facilities were great! The service was excellent, all the staff... More

Upon arrival the hotel does not offer a very attractive outlook down a dirty small ill kept lane . When you enter through the doors you are greeted by a luxury hotel with over inflated prices to match . The service in this hotel is the worst I have ever experienced with constant calls to reception for things that should... More

My sister and I kicked off our Italy tour in Roma and our first hotel stay was St George. With tons of hotels in Rome, we painstakingly did a lot of research to find a hotel that was well located, modern, and in our price range. We needed two hotels since we were splitting our stay between Campo De Fiore... More

I went with my wife for our anniversary in November. The hotel is located a short walk from st Peters and Piazza Navona. The Collaseum is walk-able in about 25 minutes. the hotel has a modern interior, the room was specious and clean. breakfast is an american style buffet, scrambled eggs, bacon on the hotplate and various cold options. arriving... We stayed in the penthouse suite which is actually two spacious separate rooms with a common entrance/hallway. This space was a nice reprieve for us as at this point we had been travelling for 3 weeks with our kids aged 10 & 12. Both rooms were perfect - not much of a view - but the rooftop lounge was just... From other reviews, I understand St George is due to close for a major refurb. It needs it. The hotel is tired and in need of some serious investment. And someone with a discerning eye to get rid of all the 80s furniture. The lowest point is the spa. The steam room smells musty and the paint is literally peeling... More

We wanted to be within walking distance from all the main attractions, but not in the middle of the crowds and the St. George was just that. The only attraction that was a bit far was the Forum area, but we walked to it just the same. We enjoyed the journey to all the Roman sites. We had a room... More

We just returned from Rome with our three adult sons. We all agreed that for our tastes, this is a near-perfect balance of modern comfort and traditional beauty.
