We stayed in the St. George Indigo Hotel while attending the wedding of a cousin who was married in St. Peter's Basilica. While we had booked the hotel because of its easy walking distance to the Vatican (my husband and I both like to walk in cities), we were pleasantly surprised with both the elegance and the impeccable service of... Hotel Indigo was the perfect base for our six days in Rome. From arrival to departure we experienced friendly and efficient service from all the team. The location is peaceful and beautiful - you feel you are part of 'real' Rome rather than staying in a big tourist hub - and there are plenty of restaurants to try nearby plus... More

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Room 107 was very nice, but the closet was VERY small for 2 women. All the linens were top quality, the room was clean and bright. It overlooked a courtyard and fountain, but it also looked over the air conditioning compressors, so beware in the summertime. It was the perfect room... More

My friend and I really liked this hotel. The location is fantastic, a very short walk from St.Peter's Square/Vatican and within easy reach of all the key tourist sites. Yet the historic street feels off the sometimes crazy tourist track. Perfect. Our room was also very quite and this, coupled with the black out shutters, meant for great night's sleep.... More

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The convenient location enabled us to walk to all the major sites. Via Giulia itself is lovely and there are many fine restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The hotel has a contemporary vibe which we liked. All employees were helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a very nice room overlooking the... More

As many have already commented, the hotel is in a great location for central Rome. We found the hotel to be a perfect staging post for our four-day visit, allowing us easy access to the main sights. The service was excellent and all our requests were met efficiently and politely. Our room was spacious and well appointed. We didn't have... More

This hotel is the ideal location for seeking out all the main sights of Rome, on foot. There are several eating places within a few minutes walk. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was spacious, with a bath, safe, tea & coffee facilities & all the amenities you would expect. Breakfast was fine for us, with a selection... More

This hotel looks better on its website than in real life. It is located in an absolutely fabulous neighbourhood (walking distance from the Campo di Fiori) so this is a major plus. The rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. We returned a couple of times at 4 pm to find our rooms had not been made up. Not... More

Stylish hotel in a fab location, Could walk just about everywhere. We were given a free room upgrade to an executive room for our 10th anniversary and given a free bottle of wine and some small Italian sweet treats. Breakfast was as good as most and all hotel staff were extremely courteous and polite. Slight downside was that the hotel... More
