Nicely situated- about twenty mins from airport and twenty mins from centre of Rome. Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy parking.we drive to trastevere and parked along the river - easy and quick. would be so nice if they had a pool :) would go back if we were heading to Rome again.

Excellent hotel for the price and the proximity to Rome. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was warm, helpful, welcoming and totally accomdating. If you are driving USE GPS!!! I tried using Mapquest and it was not good. Directions in Italy leave alot to be desired. Directions from most Italians are even worse and will lead you to new aventures!!!... More

an excellent location away from the routine grindings and a rich ambience which one feels of staying in a holiday resort of ones own. A very clean, good and tasty cuisine at a ventilated restaurant. Very good room service more courteous. The hotel staff is verfy friendly to help for the tourists in planning the local sight seeing.Easily accessible by... More

My wife and I were en route to Greece by motorcycle when we stopped here to visit Rome. Florian at the desk could't have been more helpful in guiding and coaching us on the best way to get into the city and the best places to visit, we only had one day. It turned out to be very valuable information... More

What a lovely, friendly, clean hotel with beautiful grounds. All staff speak very good English and are more than happy to help with information. We had a lovely greeting from Florian, a lovely gentleman on Reception. We stayed In a beautiful apartment that had air conditioning and the apartment was cleaned on a daily basis. The buffet breakfast is very... More

If you have a car in Rome, this is a great place to stay! More like a remodeled villa, the grounds are very pretty and private. Easy to find off the GRA if you have a car. The desk clerk "Flo" helped us with directions and parking into Rome. He saved us so much time as we only had half... More

A definite if you have a car and want friendly service, good accommodation for the price, and plenty of car parking. We were a family of 5 touring Italy for the month, and so experienced a number of different hotel scenarios. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Selva Candida stood out to us, then and now, as one... More

I say HSC is amazing. But first, make sure you're not asking for luxury. Triple your budget for that in Rome. Yes, it's better you drive. If you do, enter the hotel from it's south entrance. The gate at the bottom of the hill give you an elegant feeling of visiting a mountain mansion. Drop off all carryings at reception... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights and loved the quiet, romantic town. The hotel was fantastic and the local restaurant, Sepori Veri, was so good we ate dinner there every night. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it. We'd stay there the next time we were in Rome.
