We stayed in the annexed extension which is just around the corner to the full Hotel. It was wonderful! It had a flight of stairs to climb in a very quiet building. That didn't bother us, we like the exercise. There is an elevator if you need one. It is small and I don't like small spaces. It was worth... More

Our first stop in Italy was to Rome and the Condotti Palace. Our room was great - plenty of room, quiet, and adequate bathroom. This hotel is near the Spanish Steps, close to a Metro stop, and near fancy shops. However, if I were to come to Rome again, I would stay somewhere more centrally located. We were having to... More

Staff is very friendly and polite. Location is great. Room (105 - first floor) was quiet, with a good "terrace/balcony" where we could have breakfast quietly. But.... besides the room is small (what is normal for the region and type of hotel/room), the bathroom stinks! Horrible! The smell of urine was so strong we could smell it with the door... More

I have stayed here twice the last months, and I am very satisfied with this hotel. First and foremost, the location is absolutely great. It is 30 secs away from the Spanish Steps, and close to most of the central sights in Rome. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfeast is more on the average side, but... More

We stayed here for 4 evenings, and the room was facing Via della Croce. Hence, we could here all the bustling on the street. We couldn't adjust the air conditioning / heater. Hence, we had to open up the windows to get fresh air. Of course, higher noise level. There was truffle smell along the corridor of the lobby. We... More

The rooms are small, but clean. The location is perfect for sightseeing and shopping, you can easily walk everywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed 6 nights in the separate building with no complaint.

Dear Friends, Thank you for your stay at Condotti palace and for your comment! Our location is one of the best places where to stay once in Rome: just in the heart of the city, one block to the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti, in the middle of the action, but in the same time on a quiet little street.... Just by the Spanish Steps so not a cheap location and no access for private cars (not even for drop off). But very good reception and staff. Room in the annex was a bit dingy but facilities were fine.

Stayed here for 3 nights...9/29-10/1 on our journey through Europe. I can't say enough about the warm and friendly staff. They were so nice to us and very helpful. The location is also perfect... Very close to the Spanish Steps. You will also find it easy to walk to other attractions such as the Trevi Fountain. Rooms are small, as... More

The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is in the heart of everything and right near the Spanish Steps. Our room was a little small, but clean. No complaints. The staff spoke English very well, and were good with recommendations, except for finding a bank, which I thought was a bit weird. Some of the staff at the... More

We stayed at Condotti Palace for 8 days August 29th to September 8th, 2014. The motto is true you come as a guest and leave as family!! The staff was so nice and helpful. They all spoke perfect English. One of the staff members was from Canada. Actually, everyone I encountered in Italy spoke English. The country is very accommodating... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
