My husband and I spent 4 days here and could not fault the staff. From the moment we stepped out of the cab to leaving again, they were very helpful with all our questions, and met every one of our needs! Very clean, tidy and in the middle of the nicest streets of Spagna. We walked every where from our... More

The enthusiastic welcome at the front desk set the tone for this hotel during our stay. Well located near the Spanish Steps and for those inclined to shop the fashion stores are within a short walk. Room 314 whilst not overly large was comfortable, clean and afforded a pleasant view over the enclosed courtyard. Tea, coffee and a selection of... More

First time in Rome and wanted to be able to walk to few of the places to see. This was a great choice, basically a thirty second walk to piazza di spagna yet it was tucked away, so it felt very private Walking distance to pantheon, trevi fountain, villa borghese and shopping. Great quick bite eateries on our street. Room... More

We stayed in the annexed extension which is just around the corner to the full Hotel. It was wonderful! It had a flight of stairs to climb in a very quiet building. That didn't bother us, we like the exercise. There is an elevator if you need one. It is small and I don't like small spaces. It was worth... More

Our first stop in Italy was to Rome and the Condotti Palace. Our room was great - plenty of room, quiet, and adequate bathroom. This hotel is near the Spanish Steps, close to a Metro stop, and near fancy shops. However, if I were to come to Rome again, I would stay somewhere more centrally located. We were having to... More

Staff is very friendly and polite. Location is great. Room (105 - first floor) was quiet, with a good "terrace/balcony" where we could have breakfast quietly. But.... besides the room is small (what is normal for the region and type of hotel/room), the bathroom stinks! Horrible! The smell of urine was so strong we could smell it with the door... More

I have stayed here twice the last months, and I am very satisfied with this hotel. First and foremost, the location is absolutely great. It is 30 secs away from the Spanish Steps, and close to most of the central sights in Rome. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfeast is more on the average side, but... More

We stayed here for 4 evenings, and the room was facing Via della Croce. Hence, we could here all the bustling on the street. We couldn't adjust the air conditioning / heater. Just by the Spanish Steps so not a cheap location and no access for private cars (not even for drop off). But very good reception and staff. Room in the annex was a bit dingy but facilities were fine.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
