Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel last September for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. Wonderful service, great value, lovely room and huge breakfast! First of all, our flight was delayed and we weren't going to arrive until after midnight. The lady at the hotel desk was so helpful when we rang and stayed until 2am... More

My daughters stayed in this hotel for three nights , rooms were smelling very badly , they were half painted , toilet was in worst condition and above all the staff was very unhelpful. We choose this hotel because recommendation of other travellers was very good and location. Location is good but in same price there are other hotels available... More

There was tension in the Roman air. They knew. They’d been tipped off; “The MulhouseBoys are in town!” What they weren’t expecting that only one of us had made the journey. You expect a two-piece outfit, and you get one. If there’s one thing the MHBs are known for, it’s the element of surprise. Don’t let your guard down. Do... More

This is a charming bed and breakfast within walking distance from the main train station. It's situated on a road full of life (lots of restaurants and trendy shops) and is not for to walk to the Colosseum. Also a metro station very nearby. The place is a bed & breakfast, so no two rooms are alike. I've now stayed... More

The location of this place is extremely good just a 10 min walk from the Colosseum, 15 min walk from train station termini and just in the area of a lot of cosy and good restaurants. The room was ok, not more than that. The breakfast was a bit too sweet with mostly cakes and a little bread, in our... More

We had our 2 adult kids with us and we were given a great flat next door. We had our own on street entrance, large family room with large wooden table and piano. The large Bedroom had a double and 2 singles with a large bathroom with bath. It was perfect and the beautiful side street it was on was... More

Located walking distance from the main train station as well as most of the historical sites in Rome. The colloseum and Forum Romanum, Circus Maximus, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and more. But not for elderly people or the really unfit. The people do not speak much English, but with a map and some gestures they will send you in the... More

The pictures do not correspond to reality, the place is dirty and the rooms are smelly. The front door is broken and the windows overlook a noisy restaurant until late at night. There is no elevator. The stairs are dirty, broken and dark and we also saw a mouse running away in the basement. It 'a shame, would have to... More

Location next to Colosseum, but at the same time not very noisy. Reception staf - very friendly and supportive. Breakfast is in the next door cafe and is fine enough (some bread, some drinks, boiled egg, some fruits). Looks like hotel just own several apartments in that building and as per our own experience ( where we stay) and reading... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
