The Vatican Holiday is collection of condos maintained and operated by the Vatican Holiday Group. Because of this, your experience there is unpredictable. The rooms are clean and the price is great, so if you do decide to go get the telephone number of a contact person. There is no single check-in area. This can be rather confusing and frustrating... more

This was a pretty bad experiance for us, especially considering that this was the last leg of our European tour. We got there at night, it was dark and this was basically a hard to find and badly labelled building, which was hard to get to with the suitcase. When we got there, it was an apartment building with one... more

We arrived at about 10pm due to a fire on the railway that delayed our arrival. The B& B is part of a complex that has about 10 or 12 other B&Bs and so there is a locked gate on the street front with buzzers that you buzz each separate B&B with. It was a pretty dodgy street and area... more

Do not expect a hotel structure, but a B&B structure, with breakfast served at a coffee place in the area (coffee, pastry and juice). Rooms are small, but new, clean and very quiet as they give onto a private court. You can walk to the Vatican Museums (10 minutes), and if you need the Metro, the Ottaviano stop of Line... more

We have just returned from Rome having stayed at the Vatican Holiday BB for 4 nights it has a metro just outside which will take you to all tourist attractions and the Vatican is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The guy running the place is called Michael and he was brilliant he gave us a great map and told... more

When we arrived we were taken to a seperate building where our room was, which seemed alot better than where we first arrived. This hotel was situated about 10 minutes walk from the vatican square which is fantastic. The metro station is right outside your frontdoor and is very easy to travel as it only has line A and B.... more

A flat in a very quiet complex which has been turned into a B&B. Rooms are quite small - this is the only negative comment. Towels are changed daily, the rooms are very clean, the en suite tastefully fitted. The complex is at the far end of a courtyard and therefore very safe and quiet (you need 3 keys to... more

We stayed at the Vatican Holiday in early October for 3 days. The B&B is well located and within a 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. The room we were given was very quiet but extremelly small even by the european standars. The shower measured 18" X 18" and it was so small that it was hard to get through... more

I traveled with a friend to Rome and decided to stay away from the many many tourists. As a result we found this property. It's close to the metro station at Cipro exit. The market on via Andrea Doria is great during the day. Lots of fresh produce and cheeses. The walk to the Vatican Museums is pleseant and close,... more

Staying at the Vatican Holiday was a pleasant surpise for us. When we first looked at the building that is located at the inner backyard of the main entrance of Andrea Doria street, we thought we'd made the wrong choice..but we were so wrong. The rooms seemed to be recently renovated, were air-conditioned, with lcd tvs, hydromassage bathtubs/showers, and very quiet.... more
