The hotel is simply 5 minutes walk from Lepanto metro station. It is very close to the Vatican city and has some nice places to eat around. Also, the host Monika made our stay very comfortable and was very helpful in helping us plan our two days in Rome. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Would go back again... More

The Vatican Garden Inn is close to the Vatican, subway and bus station. On a quiet street this hotel has charm. Staff speaks good English and is very eager to help. Excellent value for the price. Within walking distance of shopping, groceries and restaurants. Bathroom was a little cramped but that is to be expected with these old buildings. Breakfast... More

We stay there for 4 nights, and everything was great. Location good, breakfast good, staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day. Many of small restaurant near by the hotel, underground station near by the hotel, bus stop also, but you can reach the city (Vatican) by the walk. Highlyrecommended. Couple from Slovakia.

simply walk away. While the location is convenient not far from the Vatican, the rooms are absolutely dreadful. The bed was horrible, missing some of the staves. The bathroom was leaking and the towel must have seen Ancient Rome. Of course, we asked to fix the parts or to move to another room, but this is a very small hotel.... More

This is a great location, located on a quiet street but literally 10 mins walk to the Vatican and St Peters Square, 15 mins walk to the Spanish Steps. This is off the beaten path of tourist traffic so you don't get the hustle and bustle of people walking past every two seconds. The hotel staff was fantastic, giving us... More

At the hotel the perfect location. The Vatican on foot 15 minutes. Before the subway Levante 5 minutes on foot. The hotel is small. The staff is friendly. Our room was small and the decor is very stylish. Bathroom normal size. Breakfast is pretty meager. If you arrive late, the food may not be enough. We arrived at 9 am... More

I was a single girl traveling Rome alone. I booked this hotel in the airport once I arrived in Rome, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. What I liked about this place was I had never traveled abroad alone before and was worried about safety. You had to have 3 different keys to get in to your room. Gate, front... More

I stayed here for my vacation in Rome. I stayed for a week. After my room was cleaned the second day of my stay, my gold ring went missing. I asked the staff about it, but they said I probably misplaced it, and that I'd find it again sooner or later. I don't know what happened to it, but I'm... More

I stayed with my family for a couple of nights at this hotel. We traveled by car and they let us park for free usually they charge 25$. That was really nice of them. We stayed in the other building and didn't mind it at all. We had a double and a triple room and they were both next to... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
