We arrived late in evening, had to call the manager to come let us in. The place was clean and its locale was near enough to walk for the transit. I recall that the room was comfortable, bit dated but it was clean and secure. I think they delivered breakfast too. We had no problems here, staff were decent despite... More

Residenza Maxima allows you to stay local with all the comforts. Nice staff and nearby trams and trains make it easy to get around. Rooms large and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend if you want to avoid the pseudo feel of a big hotel.

This was the first of 3 hotels we stayed at in Italy, and by far the best. The person who attended us was super friendly, gave us great advise for our visit to Rome, and even gave us a bottle of wine for my birthday. The rooms (we had two) were clean and comfortable. They also included snacks free of... More

Would nt stay here for a romantic break but was functional for just seeing the sights. First thoughts were we were miles away from the centre but tram 8 was very easy to get into centre and just 2 mins away. Was also just a few stops away from trastevere for evenings. The room we stayed in was comfortable enough... More

Stayed here because it had good transport links into Rome and quite a good price. It was let down due to bad assistance from staff, for example, one of the bulbs went in our bedside light, we took out the bulb and left on the bed with a note saying it did not work and could they replace it. We... More

No reception, tourist maps, luggage storage on a Sunday, staff when available are very helpful but service appears to be at their convenience, location is noisy and a 10 min walk to connecting tourist transportation although relatively cheap and clean, i would not recommend these apartments to others on a city break.

Very helpful staff. Good location - easy to get to train station and centre although there wasn't an awful lot nearby in terms of shops, restaurants, etc. Clean, well equipped room, lovely garden. Ambulances from the nearby hospital were a little loud at night though.
