Stayed in Residenza Maxima for 1 week in end April. Got room nr 8 on top of the complex with it's own mini roof top terrace. Apartment is spacious and clean. Location is fine, within 20 minutes you are at Largo Argentina and from there everything in the city center is easily walkable. For restaurants go to Trastevere with tram... More

Only the best things to say here. This small efficiency hotel is convienently located just 3 stops on the #8 tram from the Trastevere train station going up the hill (south). and just 2 blocks walk from the Hospital stop to via Maria Lorenzo Longo, can't miss it !. This neighborhood is truly the So-Ho of Roma. Great food, and... More

It was so good that we didn't even want to go to the city for sightseeing for a day... we just wanted to relax inside and enjoy the accommodation! It was clean and the staff was also very helpful and efficient...except that we had a bit of a language problem in the beginning but everything was fine once things were... More

Stayed for a week at the Residenza Maxima in early November. The room was the attic apartment, one bedroom, pull out sofa in the living/entry room, small kitchenette in the hallway leading to the outdoor patio, and the bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and shower stall. There are no lifts to the upper floors and the hallway can get quite... More

I travelled with my Mum who is 82 y.o. and we were given the flat on the 3rd. floor, 20 steps per flight. NO LIFTS!!! When prompted the assistant regarding this issue of climbing stairs with an elderly person, he said that it is the best room in the building. So, he overlooked my concerns and we proceeded to drag... We only stayed in Rome for 2 nights as part of a larger trip, so time was precious. We arrived early on a Saturday morning, hour before check-in, but the staff was there to meet us and were very accommodating in getting our apartment ready for us early. It only took them about 1/2 an hour and we were treated... More

We booked a 4 nights hotel + flights online, and could not choose that much as we decided to travel to Rome ( for the 1st time), on a really short notice. However, I must say that of all my trips around Europe, I never been so disappointed at a Hotel/Apartment before. To start with, there is no reception service,... More

We spent a long weekend here for Valentines. If you want a central location then this is not the place for you. However, if you want a little home from home in a very pleasant apartment just a 10 minute tram ride from the city, then this is very definitely worth considering. It was a little more expensive, but we... More

My first stay in this B&B was on june 2006, and since I really liked this hotel (price, cleaninless, staff) I decided to book it again for my trip on October 2009. When I booked this hotel I got nice feedback from the administrator Ricardo Forte. He arranged us a taxi to come get us at the airport and ironically... More

To arrive to Residenza from Fiumicino airport the most economic way is to take Fara Sabina train to Stazione Trastevere and buy a ticket for public transportation for as many days as you are staying. Tram number 8 is handy when going to centrum of Rome (Largo Argentina). The staff has been very helpfull and kind. Garden is very pleasant,... More
