Stayed here with a friend on both ends of our trip to cycle Tuscan wine region. Laura was a gracious host offering suggestions and maps to tour Rome, navigate the metro, places to eat, etc. Delicious breakfast in her cozy dining area complete with cappuccino. Nice roof top patio for a glass of wine plus small kitchenette upstairs too. Really... More

We loved Laura, her cats, and the great location of her B and B. I would highly recommend her place. We liked the room, location, closeness to the train, and cafés/shops. Laura helped us with recommendations and reservations.

Stayed here for part of our honeymoon and returned on our 5 year anniversary. Comfortable room and nice breakfast prepared by Laura - homemade tirimisu delicious. Laura is happy to chat and give information on where to visit, how to get there etc and is very friendly and welcoming. The only negative, the shower door in our room didn't fit... More

We spent 4 nights at Aldebaran B&B and would definitively come back! Laura, the host, is absolutely charming and ready to help with everything. We really enjoyed chatting with her in Italian and English (which she speaks wonderfully), she really made us feel comfy and at home. The room was fairly big, nicely furnished and even had a safe. The... More

A fantastic hotel and hostess that lives up to previous reviews. The entire hotel was incredibly clean, and the morning cappuccino pure bliss. This being our first time to Rome, being given a map, tips, and advice as to how to spend our weekend made our trip fantastically unforgettable.

This is by far the best B&B experience I have ever had. It’s what B&B is all about. Laura is the most charming woman I met in an already charming city, her house is gorgeous, with double height ceilings, balconies and beautiful details. Everything is super comfortable and super clean. Located on a central, though quiet Roman street, among similar... More

We had a excellent short 3 night stay and our hostess Laura ensured that we did so from the moment we arrived. The B&B had good facilities and was in a good location, a walk to central Rome or via the metro if preferred. Good local eateries nearby. Would recommend and go back to stay when next in Rome.

Everything was perfect, very well located and easy to get to any part of the city. Laure, our host, was very kind and make her best to make us feel as we are in home. Also gave us very good recommendation about the city and restaurants. For sure I recommend this BB :D

Our hostess, Laura, was wonderful. Even before we arrived she emailed the directions and the best ways to get there from the airport. She was a wonderful source of information and suggestions. The rooms are pleasant and we especially enjoyed taking a late evening snack up to the third floor open air patio. The bed and breakfast is only a... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
