The location was conveniently located a couple blocks from the Metro near the Vatican. The staff was very friendly, even accommodating our early morning departure with an earlier than normal breakfast. The neighborhood was authentic, away from the tourist bustle and very clean. The shower was terrific and we loved the balcony overlooking the area.

Service and staff were very nice and took the time to point out local restaurants/bus lines/Metro stops. They are not staffed 24/7 but this wasn't a big deal in our case. Breakfast was excellent. Location was quiet, not surrounded by tourists, but within 15 minute walking distance to the Vatican. We found most of the best restaurants to be farther... More

Booked the Sistine after travel magazine recommended their sister B&B, which was not available for the 3 nights we wished. We were not disappointed. Good location, easy to find from the metro and we were met after giving the time of our train arrival. Room clean and very pleasant. Good value for money. Lovely breakfast served in your room with... My first impression on entering our room was that of disappointment. On entering the bathroom the disappointment rapidly became dismay! The photographs on the hotel website belie the actuality and, misrepresent the quality of the accommodation massively! They have so obviously not been updated for a few years, as my photos show. On a positive note, Irene, who meets and... More

This was our third stay at B&B Sistine. All the personnel are all very helpful and endorse my view that all of the "Best" establishments would make a stay in Rome a pleasurable experience. The breakfasts are excellent and enhanced by the warm smile and great presentation afforded by Irina each morning. It's like having your own apartment in the... More

Lovely & clean rooms, clean & comfortable beds & the rooms are quite a nice size, although be aware shower cubicle is on the small side. The breakfast is fantastic, choice of cereals, fruit, cold meats & cheeses, croissants etc & Irene was a lovely lady who brought it to our room every morning, on a trolley. The location is... More

A little challenging to find the right door for the B & B but just two blocks from metro.easy access to the main sites. We walked everywhere as we wanted the exercise. Room was very clean adequate size, quiet neighborhood. but lots of activity, restaurants within two blocks. Wifi worked very well. Very friendly staff.

Clean, excellent location, good breakfast and nice staff. Only 3 bedrooms (they will give you the doors keys, including the building front door). We stayed there for 2 days. Very good price - discount if you pay in cash. Walking distance from Vatican and nice neighborhood. The only point of attention is that, when we arrived, we got a little... More

A perfect location for touring Rome. Near the Vatican and train station to all sights in Rome. The B&B is located on second floor of a residential building. Very modern with all amenities including free wifi. Breakfast served in your room enough food to feed a large family even if only a two people staying in room. A perfect place... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
