The place seemed to have been refurbished recently. Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with shower. The service is great, a very nice young man was waiting for us when we arrived late and the woman who was there in the morning (and prepared the great breakfast) was very nice as well. All reviews are right: clean, large, great breakfast, free Internet, small convenient mini bar. If you don't mind having to walk a little, the location is a great base to discover the city. Our stay at the Sistine B & B was the closest we'll ever come to experiencing a small part of Rome & the local " natives"!!
