Was there for 3 nights with a friend. We found the location not too bad as we walked to Vatican City, Roman Forum and Colossseum, maybe we are just used to walking a lot in Italy. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants and bars. A little far from the happening disco/club area but still walk-able and you can take a... more

Except the nice location I can't really say anything good about this B&B. I stayed in Matisse room, this is the smallest single room I've stayed in during my trip. If I put my suitcase anywhere on the floor I wouldn't be able to walk. They didn't clean the bathroom during my 4 days stay, the shower handle was broken,... more

Tamara's suites has lovely rooms and is very clean and quiet. However, the breakfast provided was inedible, there is no breakfast room and noone speaks better than very minimal english. Nor was anyone excited about doing anything more than providing a room. I would not reccommend this B&B unless all you want is a room tostay in. and for 100... more

We wanted to stay in Trastevere as we've been to Rome lots of times before and wanted to stay somewhere different. If you're going to Rome for the first time and want to stay somewhere central to the main sights, then I would NOT recommend the Tamara suites for you! However, if you want a great Trastevere location, this does... more

This was my 1st visit to Rome, I booked the Tamara Suites as the price seemed pretty reasonable for a city stay. I had read various reviews which all seemed pretty good. The hotel consists of just 6 rooms which are on the 2nd floor of a large building, from the outside you would not realise there was a hotel... more

We stayed for a week in Feb 2007 in the Monet room which was huge!!! The location is central to everything, we had no trouble walking to most places. Local shopping is excellent as well with less multinational shops and more interesting local stuff. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and quiet. The breakfast was a... more

My wife and I found Tamaras on the internet via hotel bed and breakfast booking agency. The location is ideal for the centre of rome with great public transport connections just a couple of minites walk. The rooms are elegant say the least for a B&B. Each decorated to a high standard with all new fittings and very comfortable. We... more

Sadly I cannot recommend this B&B. Firstly they booked me and my girlfriend into the Matisse - a room no bigger than a prison cell for 5 nights. this room was so small that you could hardly walk around the double bed - if you opened the window you couldn't open the bathroom door. if you opened the bathroom window... more

Travellers: young couple (30 and 29) from Germany. We spent 4 nights in the B&B San Cosimato also called Tamara's Suite. The little hotel has 6 rooms, each one of them is dedicated to a painter and very tastfully decorated with prints. We stayed in the room "Gauguin", which was large and the bathroom was also very nice. I hate... more

We had been looking to book at another bed and breakfast which was full. Tamara's, according to the email was run by the same company or same marketer. Tamara refers to the artist Tamara Lempicka. There are 5 rooms, each named for an artist and decorated in a modern art/deco style. Hardwood floors, high ceilings, attractive, not too ornate furniture,... more
