Have visited Rome before and stayed more central so was a little worried joining my husband who was working there when I realised how far from centre we were. Do not let this worry you at all. The shuttle operates from 8am every 2 hours out into Rome where you are dropped off in Piazza Cavour. You must book the... more

Great hotel for over night Rome stay, as it is between the airport and downtown Rome. Only stayed one night, so didn't get to explore the hotel extensively, but the rooms are really great, and the lobby atrium is very impressive. Two-room bathroom - tub, sink in one, and shower, sink, toilet in the other. Roomy, nice wood accents. All... more

20 Minutes from Rome city centre the location is not ideal but a shuttle service operates (charge applies). No shops or restaurants around unless visitors are willing to take a taxi. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was rather disappointing, as tables were not reset / cleaned and guest left waiting at their table. Pool area and... more

Visited this nice hotel recently for work. It's a lovely hotel - well appointed and very clean and well maintained. Staff were very lovely and couldn't be nicer. However........ If you actually want to visit Rome and it's attractions then this is not going to be your first option. It is located approx 30 mins plus drive into central Rome... more

It is difficult to overstate how far away this hotel is from the sights of Rome. The best way to avoid being disappointed is to think of your stay as a stint at a very fancy prison. There is nothing worth visiting anywhere near the hotel: no restaurants, shops, parks, or other businesses. To get into central Rome, you must... more

I read the reviews before going - I had to attend a conference. There is absolutely nothing (!) off property within walking distance. It is €8 for a beer in the lobby. You are trapped. We moved from a BW hotel near Termini (which we strongly recommend) to the Marriott. The fixed price taxi wanted the same fare as the... more

We were in Rome for three nights, and loved this hotel. It was a little bit of a trek to some of the main attractions, but it's proximity to the subway and park were well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with a blown fuse on our first night, but they quickly fixed... more

When we arrived at the Marriott Rome Park, we were disappointed that it was not close in the the city. Once we opened the door to our room - WE WEREN'T GOING TO THE CITY! We peeked in at the room and balcony and instantly decided we were going to get over our jet lag in this most wonderful space.... more

Wow, this hotels is AWESOME. The staff was polite and helpful. The pool is amazing and the breakfast is great. The rooms were immaculate and clean. Good value for the money. My only concern is the location. This hotel is located in the outskirts of Rome. The hotel provides a bus for transportation to the city and it costs 15... more
