-No acoustic opacity inside. Unfortunately, there was no kettle in the kitchen. Conditionaly poor breakfast (doughnut, juice and coffee) in a bar nearby. +Room wasn't large, but daily cleaned and cosy. Very good location near Termini station. In about 200 meters from residence we found a supermarket Conad City (Piazza dell'Indipendenza).

+ This is a very good hotel to trippers. Easy to find, it is near by Termini. Good location, sights (Vatican, Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon) are within 4km. Friendly staff. Good price. - There is no rack to towels in the bathroom. A little bit small and viewless rooms.

This was the last stay on my husbands & i's trip through Italy. We stayed @ the Palma Residence 2. The room was clean, the private bathroom was clean with high shower head nice hot water & big clean towels & the air conditioning was nice. Breakfast was at a cafe a couple of blocks away. The hotel gave us... More

I have just returned from a short visit to this hotel with my sister and found everything to be excellent. All of the people at reception were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was at a cafe just round the corner but was good for other meals also. Staff there were very friendly also. I... More

After walking around the block and asking a couple of people we found Palma, it is within 5 min walk from station. Go out the side entrance of station near steak & rib place and walk straight down that street a couple of blocks until you get to Via Varese and turn left. It is located to the right inside... More

As others have already told, this place was a little bit hard to find. The staff was ok but not as welcoming as other places I've been too. The internet/WiFi stopped working after a day in the whole building. They didn't had it fixed for at least two days so we had to use the WiFi at the breakfast place... More

The guest house itself was hard to find. If the guy from the reception had not seen us, we would probably not have found it, because it was also late and dark. After checking in we had to walk quite a long time, several streets away, and the "receptionist" did not even know where the room was. Then another, unintroduced man... More

Excellent location and cleanliness. Daily cleaning and change of towels. Breakfast is a sweet pastry which is very tasty, cappuccino and juice. Breakfast is served in the cafe restaurant that is nearby. WiFi is good. The only gripe is the price, which is high for this type of service.

I have to say that due to the negative reviews here, I almost cancelled our reservation at Palma Residence. Nevertheless due to the good price in great location, we gave it a try. We paid 55 euros per night for double room - due to this price I was expecting a better hostel with private bathroom and thats what I... More

This 'hotel' is like staying in your own authentic flat in Rome. Albeit with all modern beds, wardrobes and bathroom. (Plus fantastic power shower) It has working original shutters, stumpy chunky radiator, and the hall and staircase is all quality marble. The room that we were given was big enough. The bed was good ,the wardrobe big, The room had bedside... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
