I stayed with my boyfriend between 25-29 november. We felt like home. The hosts are very nice, from the begining they welcomed us with with the smile on their face. Before we got to the payment and to the room, they showed us the most important spots to visit and also we got a map or two. The room it's... More

I lliked it, it was very very very clean, the person at the reception was very kind and told us everything we wanted to know about the things we can visit in rome. It felt like home! The only thing i didn't like was the fact that on the floor wasn't a carpet or something, and and feet get cold

The host is very nice, helped me to lift my luggage, and he gave lots of information about restaurant, places, & transportation, etc. Quite environment.. Even no breakfast, but he provides toaster & microwave. So i bought some bread or food and i can make a toast and made my food warm. He also provides some cold water in the... More

I am so glad that we booked this guesthouse. The staff was very nice and helpful, they even called us even we arrived to Rome OK. They ae very flexible, co if you need to check in later, it is not a problem. I was surprised that there was just one floor with rooms (cca 6 rooms I guess). The... More

I admit that this hotel might not be for everyone, but it was by far our favorite hotel we stayed at while backpacking across Italy. If I hadn't looked at photos on TripAdvisor I might've missed the front door, because the sign is tiny and the entrance is one floor up (it's just one level of a larger building). The... More

I only stayed for a night so we went for a room with shared bathroom and that was no problem since the guesthouse didn't seem to be very busy. The room is very spacious, theer's a TV, fridge, kettle and if that's not enough you are also welcome to use the shared kitchen. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet and... More

Staff - I will start with the staff because they were stars. Luca had enormous patience. Gentle and very informative. His colleague also was an excellent help. Rooms - The rooms are very clean and very practical. The place has a shared kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. There are also fridges in the rooms. Some rooms have private... More

This B&B is located in the area of San Giovanni, and it is 40 minutes walking from the Coliseum and 20-25 minutes from the railway station Termini. The area is well connected by the underground and night buses. The building looks nice and elegant. However, the apartment is old and poorly furnished. There are some rooms with bathroom and some... Hi, my partner & I stayed here for 3 nights and must say that the hotel staff's dealing throughout has been very good. The moment booking was done, they dropped in mail with complete details with regards to hotel's direction, which train / bus to take from airport with map etc. The rooms were very nice. Very good hygiene, they... More

We had a lovely room in Sleeping Beauty and the location was central for most of Rome's attractions. The standout however was Luca. A big man with a big and very generous personality. Nothing was too much trouble for Luca. We would recommend Sleeping Beauty to our friends.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
