Hotel Laura is situated away from the historical center of Rome, but this is not so much of a disadvantage, because it is located just in front of the Metro station, and is also served by bus n. 62 which stops at the Vatican city. You can reach the city center within 20 minutes with the metro, 15 minutes by... More

Positive about the hotel: Cheap, good location with the subway just outside the door. Takes about 5-10 min to go to Colesseum for exampel. Bus nr 62 leaves från Bologna just 2 min away from the hotel. Takes you straight to St Peters and other parts of the city. Other similair hotels closer to the city are much more expensive.... More

When we arrived at the hotel it was at the fourth floor of an old building that was actually not mentioned anywhere at the web site. There was an old, slow and small elevator for maximum four persons. If you have more luggage you, have to make more courses. If your choice is this this hotel it is not bad... More

The hotel is on the steps of the metro Bologna station and near the 62 bus which covers much of central Rome. The room and breakfast were reasonable but several small things remained broken after several reminders. Staff was pleasant though we struggled with the English

My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel and it was great. The location is by far the best attribute - only 5 metro stops(6/7mins) from the colosseum. The metro is literally outside your door (no noise thankfully) The hotel has plenty of charm and is very homely. It is located in a building which it occupies the 4 &... More

My wife and I just returned from a trip to Europe that included a four day stop in Rome. We stayed at the Hotel Laura, and were very pleased with virtually every aspect of our stay. The front desk staff (Nora during the day, and Mario at night) were very friendly and helpful to us. The room was comfortable and... More

This hotel is located on the fourth floor of a building that is far from central Rome. We were aware that it was on the outskirts so this was not an issue for us. The subway is very cheap and easy to use and a station is located within steps of the hotel. There is also a taxi stand very... More

I just got back from a short vacation to Rome and I stayed at Hotel Laura. It is right by Metro Bologna (Line B) and 3 stations from Termini. The staff was friendly and spoke a little English. The breakfast was the usual (coffee, juice, bread, butter, cheese etc). The room was comfortable and had an air conditioner (you might... More

Me and my husband stayed in Laura hotel for 6 nights and we found it really convenient. It was strategically placed in front on the metro entrance and within 10 minutes, we were downtown to the main attractions. At breakfast, the coffee was delicous. The staff didn't speak a lot of english but they were nice. The room was larger... More

I stayed there April 21-30, 2006 and it was very convenient. The metro entrance is located right downstairs, and after long day of walking around rome, there is a true appreciation of that metro stop! The train stops are fast and you get to the downtown rome quickly. Termini station interchange entrance closes around 9pm though. The Buses run later.... More
