22nd -26 June 2014. Temp 29C Stayed 4 nights at Hotel Laura. Arrived late evening and after entering front door couldn't find reception.... delivery man pointed out the lift and told us to go to the 4th floor. A clear sign would have been useful! Extremely noisy-like a night club with reception playing loud music on TV all night due to a 24 hour reception. Dirty. Nothing works - power points, hair dryer or anything. Running toilet which is loud all the time even with the door shut. Stale brekkie. We stayed in many similar three star places but this was dreadful. They also cleaned... More

I stayed in hotel laura for 4 nights. The room is clean and spacious. The staff cannot speak much english but do their best to communicate with you. The boss even taught me some italian words! The hotel is conveniently located just outside the exit of dugano metro station. Its in a nice neighbourhood with decently priced cafes and supermarket.... More

We went to Rome and stayed in Hotel Laura, 20th Dec - 23rd Dec 2013 as a surprise Christmas getaway and had a brilliant time! The room was of good size, the shower a bit small but the cleanliness of the room and hotel overall was very good. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was great. The hotel was perfectly... More

We just returned from Laura Hotel where we stayed for 2 nights, enjoying our unexpected city break. First of all, I was pretty scared about the weather in February, but leaving behind, back home a heavy winter with -19 C, Rome was like desert for us. We were lucky enough to have a sunny day to visit everything we could.... More

"What you pay is what you get" can be motto of this hotel. Location is the best. Metro is just in front of it, and after 3 stops you are at Termini. They clean room and change towels everyday ... so no bugs or anything like that. Overall good hotel for sleepover and sightseeing the Rome. P.S. Internet connection is... More

Clean, two steps from the metro station, around many coffee shops and local restaurants, friendly staff but not a native English. The most basic breakfast: coffee / tea, two types of cereal, bread and jams.

We family of three adult and one kid stay there the end of august. Against previous reviews I read from website, free wireless access available now. It's so big advantage that I have no need to purchase local sim card ever in my Italy trip. The breakfast is good enough for us for a 5 day stay. Maybe bored if... More

We really enjoyed this hotel, but it's not as its advertised to be. The continental breakfast is a handful of different croissants and some cereal. (They control the milk usage) We had co firmed with them to have gluten free items as we were staying a week there and I'm coeliacs. However when we got there they just shrugged and... More

The hotel Laura occupies the 4th and 5th floors of a building on the corner of piazza bologna, which it two paces from the Metro stop on line B ( very handy ). We stayed here a week in early September and ok the hotel really isn't great but we used it for sleeping and washing only so it was... More
