This was the first hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. We were forewarned that hotels in Italy aren't what we're used to in the States, so we didn't have the highest of expectations. The hotel wasn't anything spectacular, but our experience wasn't deserving of all the negative comments it appears as though this hotel has received. The... More

Three nights in this hotel ruined what was a wonderful 2 week vacation in Europe. The room was unclean, smelly, small, and old. The service was awful - anytime we complained, we were yelled at. The breakfast was inedible. And the location was unsafe. Never have I experienced such dispicable conditions! Save yourself a lot of misery and stay elsewhere... More

Bathroom was terrible even by Italian standards. Water poured out of bathroom into main room. All lights were feeble at best, bathroom nearly in darkness light was so bad. Toilet and sink dirty. 3 pillows for two beds and beds were rock hard. Street front rooms very, very noisy, location is surrounded by "undesirables" begging and scamming. Fridge did not... More

This hotel was awful. We stayed in room 203. It was supposed to be a double room, but it had two separate rooms instead of a matrimonial, as we paid for and it was very very small. The window could not be opened and the room smelled badly. We couldn't even see outside, so no natural light at all. The... More

If this was the last hotel in Rome. I would buy a tent. No toilet, filthy carpet, noisy, small, More like a wardrobe than a hotel room. Could not spend the night . Walked around the corner and found a much better hotel at a cheaper rate. No no no no no ! More

We were booked to stay at Hotel Stromboli but all of our flights were cancelled due to the volcanic ash. The Hotel would not provide a refund of our money even though we expalined our flight situation and cancelled 24 hrs before our checkin date. Do Not Stay Here !!! More

The rooms are too small. There is no bath.(only a shower source at the wall, without a cabin, so the water ends up to the floor of the bedroom).Very poor lightning on the "bathroom". The breakfast is poor. The matresses and the pillows are too uncomfortable (so much ,that you wake up with pains all over). The satff is relative polite.... More

Where to start? The only good thing about this hotel is his location near Termini train station but even that turned out to be a problem. Our room had its windows facing the street near the train station and we heard the noise from the street all night and we couldn"t sleep all night. The room smelled of chlorine, the... More
