We stayed at Cherubini for 2 nights. The hotel staff and facilities are very good. The bed and wifi is good and we didn't have any Wi-Fi issues as suggested by others. One of the things that we really appreciated was the fact that we were allowed to leave our bags in the hotel till evening despite checking out early... More

Hotel is on the 3rd floor in the conner of the street. 5 minutes walk from Termini Train Station and National Roman Museum. Rooms are very small. Wifi is only at the reception where you can take free coffee or tea.

Clean, hot (33 C outside) second (not counting ground) floor hotel. Good location to the train and metro. Night staff's English is limited. Not recommended due to the inconsistency and the lack of air conditioning.

We booked this hotel for a week. The room was in hotel termini on the third floor. It was clean, had a bathroom and a tv in Italian. The bed missed some battens beneath the matrass, the Wallis are a bit thin and the toilet seat was loose, but the overall experience was ok since we didn't stay in our... More

we stayed here one night during a tour. the rooms were surprisingly spacious as well as clean and well-kept. i was impressed by their breakfast which was continental with an italian slant. the pretty breakfast room which looks over the street was nice as well. the location was great as it so central to most sights and only a short... Had originally booked for hotel termini on the third floor - but it's owned by the Same people, and our rooms we were given were actually in Cherubini on the 2nd floor, so I am writing this review here. Couldn't find it right away, we walked past it, the sign was small. Also the dark stairwell worried me at first,... More

good Morning, thank you for your review, we are glad that you have not found the end of the big problems in our hotel, the bed is a common question, depending on how you sleep. The wi-fi is free and works well in reception, vistio that is not the judgment we receive pirmo put LAN in the rooms for a... More

We stayed here for 5 days and we really liked our stay. Hotel is in a great place, near Termini station. You can get everywhere from there by foot, well, maybe except the Vatican. Because of the fact that hotel is near the station, there is really loud noise, even if the window is closed. It bothered for the first... More

The Cherubini is one of the many hotels I've stayed in close to the train station in Rome. The staff is friendly enough and they have improved their breakfast since the last time I was there. The room I had overlooked the exhaust fan from the fried chicken place around the corner - so I had the choice of smelling... More

This hotel occupies one floor of five floors - all different hotels in one block, its great for the Termini station. Security is good. The area is dodgy with plenty of beggars, urchins and ner'dowells! The receptionist even advised us to beware pickpockets. The room (room 40) was large, but consisted of two single beds pushed together. There is no... More

good Morning, thank you for being in our facility, as always opinions are very personal and we're sorry for not being a good hotel, as I always say to our customers, if you have problems, do not wait to say it on the internet, maybe we can find a solution together, perhaps what you noticed was created the night before... Not the worst hotel I've stayed in Rome, but it's not very good also. It's clean and is 1 block from Termini Station, where you can get to any point of the city. The neighbourhood it sketchy at best, but not unsafe. Internet is free, but does not work (at least, not in my room). It's an VERY OLD building.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
