We stayed in Rome for 2 nights before taking a cruise out of Civitivecchia. I have been to Rome on one other occasion and was quite taken aback by the cost of accomodations so this time I was certain to search for a B and B that might be more reasonably priced. Momi fit the bill. I found it by... More

My friends and I stayed here on our Euro Trip, and it was a great stay. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Termini and only a 20 min walk from the Colloseum (plus the grocery and amazing gelatto are a few hundred yards away). Our room was spacious and clean, with a four person table for eating our... More

Momi B&B is run by a team of mother n son (Alessandro). Very humble and run they show well. Alessandro went out of his way to help with transport options from FCO airport to Momi B&B. Provided us with excellent information about city of Rome. MOMI B&B has clean rooms, bed and restrooms. Proximity to Metro station on red line... More

Family of 4 stayed here in April. The beds were adequate, checkin was adequate, price was reasonable. Room was clean, shower was acceptable - did run out of hot water on 4th shower but pressure was good. Even though it states it has a kitchen - we were instructed not to use the cooking area. Bed and breakfast - minus... More

I stayed here for a couple of days of sightseeing during a business trip to Italy. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They sent me an email shortly after I booked the trip to verify what kind of bed I wanted and to make sure I had concise directions on how to get to the hotel, including what the... More

The place is an apartment in the first floor of a residential 4 floor building, the room is one of the rooms of the apartment with a private bathroom. The hall of the apartment is used as the breakfast area. The building is in a good location about 12 minutes walk from Termini train station, 5 minutes walk from the... More

This was an enjoyable stay. The place can be a little difficult to find when you first get there, and the area may seem a little dodgy, but is in fact ok! It is the Chinese/Indian part of town and there are a few homeless people you see every now and again, but nothing at all to be worried about.... More

The location feels a bit seedy, and we were not comfortable staying out late at night. The room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast good. There was a smell of tobacco that permeated the room at night which made it difficult to sleep for non smokers, I do not know if this was from another guest or the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
