Great hotel, Momi and Alessandro where the best hosts. The breakfast could be better to our opinion but it was nice that you could eat it at any time without restriction. The location is a bit far from the Colosseum and the Vatican but you can easily get there by metro, the B&B is close to the Train Station. the... More

Disregard the panic attack you will 100% get when entering this neighborhood. The graffiti and trash are nothing to be intimidated by. The owners of this b & b are incredibly sweet and accommodating. They offer a homey atmosphere, clean rooms, hot showers, the BEST coffee and orange juice, basic bread and croissants for breakfast, and any help their guests... More

We stayed here for a few nights last Lee allessandro was a great host. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfortable really nice stay and a very good central location. Great place to stay if your sight seeing as the metro is just around the corner.

We stayed at Momi B&B during our last leg in Rome. We chose this place as it was near the train station (about 10mins walk) but we didn't know it was in "Chinatown". It was also quite far from the attractions and the nearest attraction was about 20-25 mins walk away. Nonetheless, we enjoyed staying here because Alessandro and his... More

We stayed here as a family of four. Alessandro and his mum could not be more helpful. The apartment/room was spacious, spotlessly clean and with excellent wifi and air con. We loved the fact that we had breakfast provided in our room. This meant that we could visit sights early when it was cooler and come back to our room... More

Very convenient to the termini and the metro. Large, clean room that slept the 4 of us - made up every day. Good A/C, comfortable beds, good WiFi signal, and the best orange drink for breakfast. Alessandro was very welcoming and gave us great directions and food options in the area. Tips: The lock for the 5-person room takes some... More

From our initial booking we were impressed. An email was received from Alexandra asking for an expected time of arrival and explained that there was no reception area. We called once we arrived in Rome to let him know we were delayed in traffic ( it was raining and apparently Rome stops in rain). Both Alex and his mother go... More

The b&b is located at 10mn of the coliseo but be careful as the neighbourhood sucks (termini station is pickpocket land). The owners are really nice and you have a kitchen in which you can take anything you want for breakfast! I liked that you could talk with other travelers as we could share specialties of our countries for breakfast!

This apartment was comfortable, clean and a good size for Europe. Its location is close to the metro & trams and it is a short walk to the colloseum. The managers were very friendly and helpful on check in and throughout our stay. Breakfast was provided in your room. The nespresso machine and plenty of coffee pods was a nice... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
