The Hotel Prati is ideally situated for anyone wishing to visit Saint Peters and the Vatican museum area and with easy access to the other sites around Rome. If arriving by train into Roma Termini from the airport or from another part of Italy, go down to the metro and catch line A and get off at Ottaviano/S.Pietro (6 stops)... More

What you are getting is serviced bedrooms with a basic Italian Style Breakfast, and they service the bedrooms well and look after their guests. When you compare the prices for Hotel accommodation in Rome this Hotel represents value for money and I could not fault it. Good location near the Vatican / St Peters Square and not to far to... This is a small but charming hotel very well located in the Vatican area and easy to get to and from the airport on X95 bus for 5 Euro. There are many restaurants close by. Good breakfast of croissants, pastries, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice. The room was clean and well made up. Desk staff speak English and are very helpful... More

Hotel Prati has a very good location to the Vatican and near a Metro stop. Desk clerks are knowledge and helpful. Room was clean and had a double or queen size bed, all bathrooms are small in Europe at the price we paid. I would return again. I also liked the fact that they were close to Mauri Pizzeria and... My cousin and I traveled to Rome and across Ital for 3 weeks and Hotel Prati was our first stop. Its location is fantastic! You can walk to the Vatican, close enough to local pubs. One which we enjoyed the best Jazz music weve heard live! And the staff? Just fantastic! Polite, accomodating, and best of all spoke english very... More

Everything you need from a hotel.....great staff, great comfort, clean rooms, WiFi and room safe. Relaxed comfort !!!! Only one minor critique......no cheese or meat for breakfast but non the less well provided for. Short walk to the Vatican and good restaurants near by. Great place to stay.

This hotel was a great find. It is an easy walk to the Vatican, but the Prati neighborhood is also excellent to explore - the neighborhood itself is not set up for the benefit of tourists, so it feels very real - there is a fun market a few blocks away, and all sorts of shops and eateries. In a perfect location (near to the vatican and not too far from a métro), we spent 3 nights in hotel prati. It's clean, the bed is comfy, the personnel are friendly and the room is totally fine. The price is very acceptable for the location. Only the breakfast was a little disappointig with not much choice and no fruit.

We stayed at Hotel Prati from August 25 till August 27, 2014. I selected this Hotel because of its perfect location (just 10 min walk to Vatican, to the Saint Peter's square) and its prices (around 50 euros per night for a single room). The staff was very friendly, helpful, speaks good English. They responded very quickly to all our... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
