I loved this little apartment, I stayed here last October and when I go back I will stay here again. I was travelling through Europe with 3 friends and we were in Rome for a weekend and looked for an apartment style hotel. This place had a nice bathroom, a spacious master bed and comfortable couches for two others to... More

Everything. The hotel is in a wonderful location, 5 mins walk from the Colosseum. Mr Khan welcomed us and helped make our trip really special. The room was fantastic. Wonderfully decorated and with every mod con. The locality has everything you need, small supermarket, good bars, great places to eat and an excellent icecream shop on the corner, but really... We stayed in the appartment during the Easter period. Rome was really crowded but the MaercoAurelio was a haven of peace for us after our long daily visiting tours. It is located in a very quiet residential area, which is however very close to the Colosseum and the Forum Romanum. Everything is within walking distance, but there is also a... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. The property is located just five minutes walking away from Colosseum. Their service and kitchen equipment were excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful. The is a great supermarket nearby where you can purchase everything for cheap price.

I stayed here in February with my husband and baby and although it suited us fine for the time we were there as we werent spending all day in the apartment we both felt it was way too expensive. We were very impressed by the fact that they supplied a crib instead of a travel cot for our daughter and... More

Wow! What a great place to stay when you visit Rome. 5 mins stroll from the Colosseum and walkable to everywhere between here and the Vatigan. That said, as you approach the Colosseum if you bear left a few hundred meters down the main road you can pick up an Open Top City Tour bus - there are at least... More

First, the personnel in charge, which is extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us even before arriving by booking for us the dinner for the New Year's eve in a nice restaurant just 200 metres away. Unexpected gift - big thank you! They were also available every time we had to ask for anything during our stay. The appartment is... More

Stayed here in September (apologies for late review) and it really is a fab place to stay if you are looking to explore Rome. It is literally 2 minutes from Coleseum and walking distance from all the other big attractions in central Rome or if you want to go further afield there is a metro within a few minutes walk... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
