This cute little apt which holds three rooms has a shared kitchen and bathroom... The room and the rest of the apt were immaculately clean and this made my husband and myself very happy! We felt so at home here, it was almost like being at home! The kitchen was stocked with plates, utensils and pots to cook with, as... More

The best point of the hotel is nice location,we arrived from Termini to Collosseo metro station and could reach the b&b walking 10 minutes. It was magnificent night view and we decided not to take bus and to see nearby areas, though you can take bus 93(?) not sure about number and get off at Piazza San Giovanni. Also very nice and cosy... Like many B&Bs in Italy this is apartments in a secured-courtyard type building. We had a hard time finding it and realized that others have the same problem. There is a plaque near the door, but it is small and dirty. As it typical for Italian B&Bs, they want to know when you are arriving because there is no round-the-clock... More

Although a little hard to find at first, being greeted by Damiano when we arrived instantly put our minds at ease. The typical happy, smiley Italian gave us all the information we needed with lots of tips on visiting Italy's most iconic city. The hotel was nothing special but with free breakfast and wifi, a big air conditioned room and... More

This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Roma and not pay extremely high orice.Damiano is a very friendly host who made sure a day prior our arrival the time when we would come. The place is located in the great location with the short walk to Colloseum. After getting there Damiano provided us with the map... More

We had a great stay at the bed and breakfast! After a warm welcoming by Damiano and Laura we were given a city map with all important places to visit and loads of information. The room was very big and for the money we payed absolutely okay. We got fresh towels several times and could have probably asked for the... More

When I originally stayed at the B&B it was a great stay and I had nothing bad to stay about it. It was an excellent location and the room was clean. However the horrific ordeal only occurred a few months afterwards when they decided to STEAL (as there is no other word for it) just over £1500 from my bank... More

Old building charm and authentic Italian living if you like to encounter your host in private flat. Breakfast served in adjacent cafe, no choices, just coffee and a croissant. Shared bathroom not really up to date.

Got here after trecking it from another location with lots of luggage. The owner said he was fully booked & tried to contact us which is a load of crap. Expedia said it was confirmed they only gave me a $50 voucher for compensation. I had to rebook at a crap hotel due to the weekend was not happy with... More

I stayed there with my mom for two nights. Good location, close to metro and even closer to the bus stop from where you can easily reach the centre. We had RomaPass so it was a good solution for us. the rooms are really pretty, beds are new and comfortable. The owner is really nice and caring. Every morning we... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
